Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
55 days to go! I retire Sept 30th and we plan on leaving on 1st trip Oct 3rd. After almost a year of planning, scheming, calculating, reading, researching & worrying (driving DH crazy) we are ready to do this.I guess everying goes thru these conflicting emotions of sheer terror & overwhelmi...
Ours is too thin and cheap and it squeaks (we probably could lose some weight). Is this something you can just replace at Walmart or Lowe's? Is it a standard size? Our is an elongated model. What I'd really like is a heated one for those cold mornings before we leave or are just arriving back in Ontario!

So I've got this 1984 Pace Arrow. I bought it used, and in general it seems to be pretty shipshape ... but the gas cap doesn't fit. Clearly the last person had the same amount of difficulty I'm having now, because I can't for the life of me seem to find one--not just for this RV, but in general it seems oddl...
I'm spending a couple months near Denver, Colorado this summer. One of the bucket list items is to do a mountain train ride. (We've already done Pike's Peak) I would like some suggestions on the best one to do. Some criteria: 1- Entertainment and food available would be preferable. 2- Not over 5-6 ho...
I know this subject has been kicked around quite a bit. Hopefully, you folks will help me clear up some things. If I have a prescription from a Dr. in the U.S., say for Imitrex, do I take it across and go to a drug store ? Or do I go to a Mexican Dr. and get him to write the prescription ? The reason I ask this...
I just see a flyer on GPS tracking - kinda like your own personal LOJACK unit, only this device uses the internet to show YOUR location and can page endusers various selected way points waypoints. The device plugs in to the test plug already in your car or truck. I was think I should get one of these device...

My father just bought a 2002 Travel Supreme 5th wheel 34kstso. He bought it without testing everything in the camper so now he has a lot of repairs to do. He lives in Nashville and I live in Baton Rouge so I have been trying to help him with all the electrical problems over the phone. Can anyone tell me wh...

Hi, we are brand new to RVing and this weekend decided to try filling our water tanks. When we got to our campsite with a full fresh water tank, we could not get any water through our faucets. Finally hubby dumped water slowly into the water pump which worked and water ran. Is this normal or did we do som...

I am developing a 2nd blog http://art4rvs.blogspot.com/I paint in acrylic with brush and palette knife and have been painting for 16 years now. My style is expressionistic and at times a slight lean towards semi-semi-abstract. Within this style I like to paint loosely for the most part and on oc...
Sorry about the subject... Wasn't exactly sure how to condense my question to a few words... lol We have a 40ft toyhauler with 2 AC units -- One ducted with a thermostat in the living area and one with controls on the unit in the bedroom. They both cool great -- that's not the problem. What we're finding n...

Just wondering if any of the fulltiming ladies (or guys, I guess) are quilters and if so, what kind of quilting and how do you store your stuff? Any innovative ideas you'd care to share?!? We cleared the built-in cabinetry out of the center of our back bunkroom (which has slideouts on both sides) and use...
We live full time in a Keystone Montana on the road. This is our second year traveling and working. The biggest thing we would change about our RV is the number of windows, particularly in the popouts. Frankly, they are useless and take up valuable wallspace as well as reduce the thermal efficiency of t...

When our A/C kicks in, we get a mildew-like smell for the first few minutes of operation. It then dissipates. Anybody have this experience? What did you do to remedy the situation? Something got wet up there somewhere, I don't know where to start. Any help would be appreciated.
We are heading to Glacier and Bamff this week and some questions have come up about Bear Spray. We are wondering if you can bring it into Canada, if that is legal. Also does a person evan need it. We plan on doing alot of hiking and biking so we will be in the woods. Also are there any issues about knives going...
