Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
We are "50's" couple that are planning to go full itme "camping" starting this June (2012). I am retired USAF, and (will be) retired auto shop teacher. My wife was very recently very sick but has healed now, and this ha of course given us a new outlook on lifes priorities. We have a (class A) motorhome that is in great shape and a trailer on 5 acres in Montana we will sell. We are also planning on selling most all of our possessions and storing just a few. we have really enjoyed reading posts, and are always open to good dvice. Our initial plan is to perhaps camp host about 1/3 of the year,(every 3rd or 4th month) and then travel this country the rest. ANY ADVICE OR SUGGESTIONS...ETC would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, bradandtoni
Welcome to the forum and thank you for your service to our country. I like your plan, seems do-able. Short term jobs seem to always be available, for a variety of reasons, the trick is to be close to the work location when the opening is available. Travel time is expensive.

Yes, it seems there are MANY openings, especially if you are flexible, and especially in the "Northwest" during fall/winter. We rare sur getting excited and it should make the school year go FAST! P.S. Thank YOU for your service also! Brad & t
First of all - thanks for your service, from an Army Brat and veteran myself. We to had a wake up call over the past couple of years, and we decided that life is to short and we will be joining the group in 20212.
Welcome to the forum Brad and Toni. Glad you decided to join the lifestyle. You will love it There is lots of information here so feel free to ask any questions you might have.
See you down the road one day.
Vicky

I recall an RV seen west of Colorado Springs back in 2008. They had a converted bus and was pulling a large trailer. That large trailer had a full sized Cadillac Escalade in it and they had a bird in the RV.
So, it has been done. Feel free to ask questions, and since you own an RV already, feel free to comment on the questions of others.

No slight mistake. We are VERY happy with " sunni" and have more or less modded it just the way we like him. Our recent 6week excursion sealed the deal! Anyone need five acres and a mobile home in Montana! Brad
