Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
Purchased new in July 2011 and used very little. Has electric start, RV 30 amp plug as well as a 20 amp plug and 12V plug. I have always used Stabil in the fuel and excercise it monthly. This unit will run one full size RV air conditioner and is very quiet, comparable to the Honda/Yamaha units and is at least...
What a whirlwind since the OR rally!! Our house is in escrow and yesterday we went to Pasco and met our new dream home. We put a hold deposit on a 2005 Mobile Suites 36ck3. We're thinking of buying a used RV. I don't like to buy bottled water. What do you do to make sure that your water tank is clean and the water is drinkable?
Hi, I have a 35' Alfa Sun 5'ver with 2 125 watt solar panels and 4 6 volt golf cart batteries. I'm heading for Quartzsite but am not getting the juice I think I should out of my system as it is now. When connecting the panels to the "regulator" I used the existing pre-wired lines built in at the fac...
I didn't find a posting for this, but I'm wondering if anyone uses the George Foreman or other type of electric grills? We spent some time at my son's this summer and used a small George Foreman grill and really liked it. But, I don't know if the extra appliance and weight is worth the convenience? In the s...

Hi all: We just bought our first full time RV. Older but in very good shape. Not going to move it for a while but that is OK. Hubby is still active duty military and we have about 6 months left if he doesn't get extended. So for now we are going to live in it locally, get used to it and start fixing it up a bit. Hubb...
They worked fine until we moved it today. Now the light that is supposed to come on and stay on doesn't. They don't do anything or the panel says we don't have the brakes set on it, or it is not in park which it is.
Hi Howard, My husband and I were wondering if you can add insulation to your RV walls? Also what we can do to better insulate around our windows? We have another month and half before heading south. We have a 2001 Coachman Catalina. Thank you in advance for any advice from you or others. Jim and...
I would've titled it new to the site, but after I went to register, it said that my screen name was already taken. For kicks and giggles I tried to log in with my old trusty password and it worked. Appears that back in 2008 (which was a very busy year for us), I stumble across your site and registered, but nev...

Hi All, not sure if I'm adding this in the right topic area. However, we "stumbled" upon these today as we're trying to figure out how to best maximize our TV to accomodate art show "stuff" without taking up room in a 5ver. Anyone have any feedback or experience using these? Main...
