Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

So . . . anyone have a notion of how much wind a fifth wheel can take without toppling over? This is with slides in and everything secured . . . water tank full for extra weight.I ask because we are in NJ - static and working - and, while not at this moment in the direct path of Hurricane Irene, we are looking a...

What's the best way to get the rig and pickup washed? We've arrived here in southern FL for the winter and will be in Moore Haven (near Lake Okechobee) for two weeks then parked in Fort Myers for 3 months. Googling RV wash Fort Myers reveals truck wash places and a couple of RV service centers. Our plans ar...

As future full-timers we wonder what others do with such important papers as insurance policies, RV and/or toad titles, etc. We don't know if we should keep them in a safe deposit box or with us as we travel. What do you take and what do you keep in a safe location other than your RV home? As always, thank yo...

I am looking for a campground in the Clearwater/Dunedin area that has cable included. My hubby and I stayed at Dunedin RV Resort last summer for 7 weeks and loved it. We had to pay for cable and have the cable company come and hook it up. This seems to be the case with all the campgrounds in that area. I'...

Any recommendations regarding findig vets once you are full timing? OK I have not read about this on any of posts so here it goes. A little advice since we travel with dogs. We chain them to the 5er to let them out. They tend to pee in the same areas as dogs tend to do, so the smell would get noticeable. Looked on line and found that if you take white vinagar to the spots were th...
My husband and I have finally found "our perfect" single axle freight liner. Thing is the title is a commercial title. I guess USAA says they cannot loan money on a commercial vehicle. Therefor I am lost, beings that USAA is the only bank we have used for umteem years. Hoping someone can sugg...
A couple of weeks ago we posted our mpg 181 for sale on three RV forums, including this one. So far the only response has been someone who is 2000 miles away - hardly a likely buyer for our trailer. Yesterday, at the Springfield RV show, I talked to our dealer. They will take it on consignment for a flat fee o...

Our engine and coach batteries are in the same compartment. We accidentally left the key on and our engine battery went dead. Can we jump our engine battery using our coach/marine batteries?
