Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
I see a lot of people always saying RV-Dreamers..... Instead of RV-Dreams.com it should be RV-Doers.com Just a lame joke...... But yes, people need to stop Dreamin' and start Doin'
We just arrived in Zion for the first time. What are some "must see/do's" for the area? We are also looking for a good place to boondock in the area. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

I am planning on being more active on the road. I have used my Outbacker OB-8 with the Outpost base most of the time. There have been a number...

I have a combo a/c - heat pump (also the option to use the furnace on LP). It has been getting down to freezing or a little below. The heat pump in the main living area either does not turn on or just the fan comes on, blowing cool air. It seems to work fine in the bedroom. Is this a problem and if so, what shou...
My name is Jack and my wife is Cheryl. We are not full-timers ... yet! But just bought a new DRV and will spend a lot of time in it. So far we love the DRV 38RSB3. We are from Vancouver Washington but spend a lot of time in Seaside Oregon on the coast.
Just received our new Keurig coffee pot in the mail. This one does both single cups and carafe. It comes with a nice carafe and a few carafe pods. We are single cup drinkers but if company is over the option to make a carafe is nice.

Just curious if many of you have mud flaps on your truck? Looking at the brand called Gatorback. They seem pricey but well made, wonder if they are a good idea.
Hi everybody, Andy & Kim from Southern California checking in. We've spent the last 20 years going out for 1-3 weeks at a time in a 8' Scamper pop top camper. The 10 years before that we camped in the back of my parents Tradesman van. I have been RVing since I was in diapers and have been looking forward...

After looking at several 5ers and a few MHs, Cindi and I are wondering about the space under the bed. Most, if not all, rigs have storage under them, accessible by lifting the bed. I recall once seeing a Gulfstream class A that had a Murphy bed type set up in which a desk/table folded down from the bed afte...
So, 2 questions here. Anyone know much about this park and how would it be driving I17 from Flagstaff to Camp Verde in October? Any input would be appreciated. Thanks.
I saw a post on another RV Forum for a device from Hitch Rider. The post claimed the Hitch Vise stopped hitch rattle for good. I had been trying to solve the rattle my mobility scooter lift makes. I had tried wedging wood, metal washers, a U-bolt device but nothing would stop the rattle. This did : ...
Looking for a known good park, in or around, Ft. Lauderdale park for the month January? Would like to stay under $1k.. Will spend more if needed. Thanks
This one has me confused as to what might be wrongThis morning, Jo went to wash dishes in the kitchen sink and had no hot water. Cold water worked fine, and the hot and cold water worked in both the bathroom sink and the shower. I've got a multi-sensor indoor/outdoor thermometer with one sensor in the u...
Now I have had an interesting observation. While traveling, I have less back problems and I am more willing to do things that I will not do at home. Today is Tuesday. Sunday when we came home from Stone Mountain, GA (6-7 hours in the "Beast"), my only complaint was sore calf muscles from wa...
I am going to need some advice on how to best handle the dealer when going back to get repairs. We have been in the unit for about 5 days and have noticed the following problems. My wife and I are planning to retire to an RV no later than 2022 and are using the time to plan. I've been browsing these forums for sometime and thought it was time to start contributing. For those of you who have been there... I'm trying to decide whether to leave MB immediately before or after Dec. 31st. Which city has more fun stuff to do on New Year's Eve? For the past probably 10 years, our NYE celebrations have consisted of playing our annual game of Scrabble over some adult bever...
I signed up for the Verizon 20 GB service for $99.99 back on Nov 3, and today, ten days later, I got an alert telling me that I've used 75% of my data allotment. I went on-line and downloaded my usage stats to a spreadsheet, added it all up and arrived at just over 3.7GB. Since the stats on-line were only curr...
We are traveling in Florida for the next several months and have plans to fly home for Christmas (Dec 20-31). We are new to RVing and did not realize parking/storage could be so hard to find. Anyone have any suggestions? The storage facilities around Ft. Lauderdale are all full and have wait lists...
I thought it might be fun if we "sounded off" about what pets we are or will be RVing with and if you have a dearly departed friend, feel free to share that also. Rinnie: Chow/Shepherd/Other, adopted from Dothan Animal Shelter in AL at 12 weeks, now 9 1/2 years. Loves camping and long walks....
