Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

New to Full Timing

yawnyawn A Shout Out - Finally, we have arrived. After years of dreaming, waiting and planning - and a whirlwind of events: retiring, selling the house, downsizing, storing, selling, donating - purchasing a new RV and Truck - within a matter of WEEKS! (So much for planning!!! It all got crazy at the last moment!!) But what a LIGHT at the end of the tunnel! Here we sit at the Gulf Shores - relaxing, taking in the scenery, exploring local attractions and enjoying our new friends and neighbors. Life is GOOD!

Congratulations! I so envy you this morning since I just let our dogs outside where it is 17 degrees not to mention envy the freedom. I think for many, it goes like that with all the waiting then "boom" and everything moves so quickly or at least that is what I tell myself every day to renew my hope. Enjoy!

Welcome and congrats!  I'm with the Gypsy in the envy department.  It's currently -2 in Centennial CO.  My wife was just saying this morning,"Just think, this time next year we'll be sitting outside the 5th wheel in our chairs (someplace much further South)."  Oh, yeah!  It's coming soon.

Happy trails.

Congratulations Gillespie's!!!! Our first week was at the RV Dreams Fall Rally - MUCH information - a good first week! Then it was off to PA to re-aquaint with family and friends - THAT was a WHIRLWIND!! Fun but tiresome after being away for 15 years there wasn't enough of us to go around!!! Gulf Shores was a welcome haven - we know no one! Envy you headed west to Nevada - I made too many commitments to friends and family to meet in Florida - but, if all goes as planned - will head west in March - for who knows HOW long!! Life is Good!

Enjoy - and again, CONGRATULATIONS!!
