Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

I recently devised my own sewer hose support system that maybe you could use in the place of something that is not doing the job for you. It works better than anything I have used or bought so far. Hi, Do any of you fellow vegetarians (if there are any of you out there) find it a challenge to truly enjoy and experience the local culinary cuisines of this great country when you don't eat meat, which is the mainstay of most American meals?
We just made our longest trip in the RV, 1500 miles to Florida In our 2002 bounder. Lost engine power twice along the way, requiring fuel filter replacement. Fortunately was able to get to safe locations to make the repairs. how do you get the tank cleaned, and where do you go to get it done? Than you in adv...
Looking forward to talking with you all about traveling with our pets (our babies). Totally understand food/water/heat/cold etc, but what do people do when the park you stay in won't let you leave your pets inside, if you want to ...say go out to dinner, or tour a site without the dogs? Thinking of jo...

Hi everyone! Been a while since I've been here. Just curious - has anyone ever used one of those Monkey Hooks in their MH wall. I would like to hang a couple of wine racks (5 bottles) and need something that will support the weight. The Gorilla hooks will support 50 lbs and the Hercules hooks will supp...
I'm having difficulty uploading my picture (avatar) to my profile. When I press UPLOAD FROM COMPUTER, nothing happens. I have several pics to choose from but it doesn't even give me a directory listing from which to choose a picture. Is anyone else having this problem? -- Edited by CWinLV on Sund...
A couple of years ago I asked on a forum if anyone made New Year resolutions and they basically said they were older and didn't do that anymore. But, I'm older and I do. For me, making New Year resolutions means setting goals to strive for and I'm hoping I'll never be too old for that. So, do you make New Y...
Merry Christmas from sunny Mazatlan. My wife and I are now 6 months into our new adventure. I have been a daily lurker on this site for two years while preparing for our July 1, 2013 starting date. My wife retired at the end of June and I turned 62 and was ready to begin receiving Social Security. We had li...
New adventures on the horizons. My husband, Rich will be retired by March 1, 2014 and we will be full time Rvers by April 1, 2014. We sold our home one year ago and moved closer to his office while we downsized our stuff, bought a Heartland 32 foot Sundance and a 2500 Ram( which I think we are going to chang...

So several weeks ago our LR TV stopped working, Samsung LED, the picture had always been OK, the TV came new with our Rig in 2009. Our youngest daughter is 17 and wants to join the air force and hopefully get into the crypto linguistics program. She loves languages and since both her dad and her grandparents were in the air force it seems like a great fit. She just got her scores back from the ASVAB test and scored 96%% So proud an...
First of all, thanks to everyone on the forum for all of your support and guidance; your experience and willingness to share has been invaluable for us while we (continue to) figure everything out. As we started this journey, we decided that we wanted a mothorhome, but with our budget, we knew that...
While I realize most people would have no interest in such a plain and smaller unit, someone might. We really like the Livin' Lite Travel Trailers but the largest is 24'. The company was recently purchased by Thor and yesterday when I was at their website, I noticed that they are now producing a 5th wh...

What are the pros and cons of "cloud" vs external drives for data storage as it relates to RV's where data usage can be more an issue than in S&B. Any recommendations?
HI, Can any one tell me if there is a service that will come to where you are parked and drain your black water tank? I am thinking of moving into a fifth wheel but I do not have a way to move it. Thanks
I heard through another forum that they thought there were less snowbirds before as the parks they saw used to be packed in FL and TX. I'm wondering if others are seeing less. I also wonder if that isn't contributing to the best prices I have seen on used units in my lifetime. I know that Tucson in the 90...
