Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
First of all, thanks to everyone on the forum for all of your support and guidance; your experience and willingness to share has been invaluable for us while we (continue to) figure everything out. As we started this journey, we decided that we wanted a mothorhome, but with our budget, we knew that we would have to buy a preowned unit. We focused on identifying one that was built for fulltiming (or snowbirding) and that was a few years old. We were going to look this winter and when/if we found something, pull the trigger. Well, this weekend we flew to Texas to look at our potential new home....and well, we believe we found it!! Our early Christmas present is a 2008 Allure Country Coach Crane Prarie. It has 22K miles and is in immaculate condition.
We will be flying back down to Texas in April to drive it home ...and stopping in Tennessee en route to Pennsylvania. The spring RV Dreams rally will be our first official trip in our new home. We traded in our cabin for space #223. (Please be kind when we are trying to get it into our space!!)
Congrats for your purchase and good luck for your next step. It seems that Santa was near by if he's still around ask him to come around my place loll....
Congrats!! Country Coach made a very nice motorhome. Your starting out with all the makings of a great time,,, 4 slides, tag axle, you will love the aqua hot, looks like very good storage inside and out and it looks very clean. Enjoy!!
It just took my breath away! Who could ask for anything more than that? And, if Santa brought that, the old guy is either playing favorites or you guys were off the charts good this year! You'll really be looking forward to spring this year.
What can I say....WOW!!! It is gorgeous! I am pea green jealous. Hopefully I will be able to find something as nice in my price range when it comes time. I wish you all the happiest life in your new home. Helen
It's beautiful - congratulations! I'm really happy for you, as well as a little (in the immortal words of hawhawmomma) 'pea green jealous'. And how cool to have your very own coach at the rally instead of staying in a cabin. See you there - we're in site 439.
That is beautiful! We can't wait to see it in April - OMG we can NOT wait until April rally!
