Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
Hi Everyone While we sit here waiting for our house to sell we would like to ask your opinions about the NUWA CHAMPAGNE FIFTH WHEEL. We have traveled to Hershey and the Tampa show not to mention local rv shows but have never seen a Nuwa fifth wheel. They are suppose to begin production again in June. We...

Some of the other websites I browse are for land sales throughout the U.S. and Canada. From what I have seen you can find property for a good price in both urban and rural areas. Does anyone here personally have several tracts of land throughout North America that they travel between and use as a "p...
Does anyone have a problem with Firefox, specifically getting Page Load Error and Address Not Found messages? I seem to do relatively ok accessing an internet address early in the day, but the longer I have the computer on the harder it is to access a site. Sometimes I will hit the Try Again box sever...
Hi, We just spent some time in the South Rim of the Grand Canyon, and we put together an overview of camping & hotel accommodations, dining options, free shuttle explanations, ideas if you can only go one day, hiking ideas, etc... Thought I'd share it with the group, in case anyone is interested ~ m...
As many of you know we own some RV sites at Retama Village in Mission TX. We have one site free right now, and 2 free next week. Since I know some are at the "rally" in TX I thought I would offer the lots for rental on a weekly basis (or near weekly). Normally we only rent for a minimum of a month. If yo...
While here in Florida tonite we watched the Discovery go up right in back of our RV. What a thrill. Posting some picts in our journal. I guess that is a plus for us RVer's to be where we want to be at times. southwestjudy

We enjoy perusing many of the blogs here as well! We are Craig and Linda, travelling full-time in our fifth wheel trailer along with ou...
We have been fulltiming for almost 5 years (no house) and have had our tow car (Jeep) insured with Progressive all that time. On our recent renewal, our rate went up almost 20% (thankfully, no accidents or claims...just an increase in rates). In the process of seeking other quotes, we are running int...
My husband and i just bought a 35' travel trailer that we've decided to live in full-time for a couple of years. Our bedroom area has narrow closets on each side of the bed. i have been searching for something to fit into these closets to use as drawers/dressers. My daughter's room has the same type of...

We are shopping for an RV in which to begin our full time lifestyle. As I get further into my research I have come to understand that only a few brands of RV are suitable for full time living. We plan to follow the warm weather but want it to withstand mild winter temps if we have to come home for a period o...

We traded and purchased a used coach while in Summerdale, Alabama before Christmas. Everywhere we read or heard that this is a great time to purchase an RV as the prices are low and people are unloading them and dealers making great deals. We have ended up in the middle of a big mess. The dealer did n...
Having just watched this movie on Encore I was stunned by what was shown. Warning, this movie does not show Walmart in a good light... http://www.walmartmovie.com/ I'm not sure if this has already made the rounds in RV circles, it is dated 2005 so may be old hat to some of you. For me, being the first ti...
Got an IM today from realovekk. Obviously not an RVer. I have let this person know that this forum is for RVing and to take his or her requests elsewhere.
It seems the folks in Kerrville must be having too much fun. I've noticed since the rally began the new posts in the RV-Dreams forum have been suffering the same fate as my 401K.....it's down. Aren't there any topics we haven't discussed yet ? Let's see some new posts......please, I'm getting bored a...
As I have posted before, Hubby and I were planning to fulltime starting 2/1/09. Then the world fell apart for me. As time got closer, he got more and more distant. Finally weeks before our "takeoff" date, he decided he needed to work two more years, took the fifth wheel, left me and move...
We are living the dream or at least our version of it. Brenda and I travel south from our farm, NW of Calgary, Alberta, Canada, in the winters to places where the climate is more hospitable. These southern expeditions are being made in our motorhome but we are fortunate to call home a pretty beautiful pa...
Well it has been about 10 months since I started lurking around the back walls of the forum and participating in the live chat. Seems like a good time to put our blog site up for your perusal. Sometimes it gets a little boring but it gives us an opportunity to share our adventure with family back home and th...

We are considering purchasing a 45 gal water bladder from Camping world to bring fresh water to our 5th wheel when we do prolonged drycamping. This will replace the 6 gallon jug we methodically drag from the water to the trailer on a dolly. What do you use and what do you think works best for you? Thanks f...
