Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.


We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Any one know of  any parks to stay in  Laughlin for 30 -60 days in Jan,Febr, or March?

There is Ridgeview Resort in Bullhead City, right across the river. Its quite a large park.

We stay at Ridgeview in Bullhead City as DaveSam recommends, but it is a membership park so it is not open to everyone and to stay more than two weeks you have to be a member of the park to buy your week out.  About all the shopping, including Wal-Mart, Sam's Club and groceries, is in Bullhead City or Fort Mojave (the city south of Bullhead City) on the Arizona side. Plus most of the non-casino restaurants are also in Arizona so staying at one of the many campgrounds in Bullhead City or Fort Mojave might work out better. Unless you want to live at the casinos.  We don't gamble so one week to 10 days at a time is enough of the area for us.

Moon River RV Park was ok unless it rains. Water didn't drain from the park very well. They paid half the electric!  Close to the Colorado river, but you need a permit from the indians to use the beach.  It's on the same road that leads to Oatman and the wild donkeys.

We also stayed (briefly) at the Silver View RV Park in Bull Head City.  The view from the ridge looking down on the river and Laughlin was fantastic.  But the 60 mph winds forced us to move to Moon River.

A word of warning...we found the drinking water to be very hard and didn't taste good. The bottled water industry in the area is doing a brisk business.
