Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
Thank you for giving us a place to post our blog site! We have enjoyed this forum and have received help with many of our questions and concerns as we begin our RV dream. We enjoy perusing many of the blogs here as well!
We are Craig and Linda, travelling full-time in our fifth wheel trailer along with our two boys and two dogs. We plan to travel the U.S. for at least two years, with Craig having recently retired. We began our journey in early February 2009, so we are still newbies!
You can read about our travels at our blog below. You are all invited to comment to your hearts' desire!
We live in Naples, Fl so not far from where you were camping. I guess you might have been at one of the Corps of Engineer's campgrounds along the Caloosahatchee River between Ft. Myers and Lake Okeechobee. W.P. Franklin Lock and Ortona Lock are two of our favorite COE campgrounds along the river.
We wish you well in your travels and will enjoy following your adventures on your blog.
Craig, Linda and boys, you have chosen a very commendable undertaking with the education of your children and I'm certain all your family will be enriched by the experience. I enjoyed following your adventures to date and look forward to your continuing travels. Be Safe, Marty Hill
We to are working Engineers and planning on fulltimming by June of 2010. We also have two boys 10 and 12 and plan on road schooling. Just wanted to touch base and discuss your vision and plan. We would like to pick your brain so to speak on how you're managing and type of fifth wheel you chose. We currently have a big class c rig, but plan to get a 5th wheel. Happy trails
