Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
Well folks in preparation of installing our new solar panel system in the next couple of weeks we decided to switch all of our incandesent bulbs both 12V and 110V with LEDs. All I can say is WOW....what a difference in both quality of light, heat and power consumption. The LEDs took all of 30 minutes to ch...
Hopefully this post will help someone else.We bought a set of Bridgestone Duravis 700 tires to go on the truck. They are a light truck tire with decent ratings, that a lot of delivery trucks use because of the mileage they achieve with them. Anyway they were balanced the old fashion way, regular spin, t...
We've been stationary for a few months. We don't have full 50 amp power hooked up here yet so I haven't been running the A/C. Today got too hot so I disconnected shore power and turned on the generator to run the A/C for awhile. We were doing some family stuff and when we came back, there was a big puddle of wa...

They were sold out shortly afte...

I know there is a forum for toads, but not many people read that forum and not many people comment on it - it's like the "secret subject".Quickly - we plan on gong F/T in a Class A for about a period of 2 years and then 6-7 months a year thereafter. Saw the other day on this site a person who was talking negative about Sun-N-Fun Resort in Sarasota. I just wanted to say I agree 110 % with him. The Resort is managed by a Little man with a BIG ego and all they want is your money! Once they have your money any special treatment you may have received is gone...
Being new to driving a DP RV I have a question about starting the engine. Most times I turn the key , wait for the indicator lamps to go out, and the engine starts. On a trip to Tennessee I noticed that the engine did not always start, after it sits for a day? I have read on forums to: If no white smoke from exhau...

Although we have been full-time for a few years, we are finally free of the need to have smart phones on which to get our e-mail and use for data purposes. We have a Verizon Jet Pack Mi-Fi which we have used everywhere we go for Wi-Fi, and therefore e-mail/data use. The Jet Pack has met all of our needs in t...
