Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.


We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Saw the other day on this site a person who was talking negative about Sun-N-Fun Resort in Sarasota. I just wanted to say I agree 110 % with him. The Resort is managed by a Little man with a BIG ego and all they want is your money! Once they have your money any special treatment you may have received is gone until the next time you want to make a reservation. I know many couples that have been there and feel the same way. If you want to pay for everything and get nothing then don't pay attention to this warning. Please take the advice of a many year full timer and JUST DON'T GO!

They do have some good reviews, but myself and many others agree with what I have said, they would never go back to that Resort especially if you have kid's. They do hassle the young people for no reason, iv'e seen it myself and don't agree. Just my opinion been there done that would never ever go back, PERIOD!!!!!

So, do you have any recommendations for the Sarasota / Bradenton area?

We are heading back to the area next week for a few weeks?

Looking for big rig & pet friendly with full hookups.

There is a very nice Resort we have stayed in just east of Port Charlotte which is close to Sarasota,Bradenton,Arcadia and Ft. Myers, the name of the Campground is Riverside RV Resort. Very freindly very clean and lots of fun for couples or familys. Hope this helps.

If we didn't have a rule on here about not talking politics I would say, that explains a lot about politicians and the media, but since we have that rule I'll keep my mouth shut.
