Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

I have not had any replies to my posting in the Forum re: rallies. I read that there were a couple of local kennels who would board a dog during the Fall Rally, but I cannot find the listing. Can you help? Thank you, Ann
Greetings, I repair many brands of inverters for a fraction of the cost that one would spend on buying a new one. Reasonable prices are the norm and repairs are done in a timely manner. Feel free to visit dynamikrepairinc.com and get a quote for the brand that you are having problems with.
In Southern California I have noticed a worsening trend in traffic. On the interstates (freeways) if there is a series of hills and curves, not the kind with reduced speed but gentle curves and hills that are perfectly safe at 70 MPH, the traffic will slow for miles. Once out of the hills the speeds pi...
All this talk about max weights, rv heights, tire ratings, Truck rating etc.. Got me wondering how many people actually have a issue, and get into accident. I understand safety is a big issue.. and maybe the numbers are so low because of the internet, and people get educated in RV safety .. Anyways.. f...

Hi My 2014 dodge ram 1500 came with 20" wheels & tires it has the 5.7 hemi and 6'4" bed withstandard cab Is this a prpblem for towing a travel trailer? I plan on purchasing one in the next couple weeks I'm thinking something in the 26 foot range for my wife & I Thanks for any input
We are going to be making a trip where we will have a few one night stays. Our fifth wheel has six point auto-leveling. Should I have any concerns about applying the auto-leveling while still hitched to the truck? Will it put too much stress on the fifth wheel hitch?
I am in planning stage and want a Class C. There is no way I could handle living in only 22 or 24ft.
I was thinking maybe I could be a minimalist and fit in a 26ft. I will often be parked near family in a s&b or apt.
However, I really want room for a desk area for my new sales job. In a Minnie Winnie Premier I c...
My wife and I are starting our search for a 5th Wheel, we are first timers and want to do all the home work we can to get stated right. You all are a great group and the best help ever. Thanks Evan
Though I have seen many topics on RV length I have yet to see one on RV width. I am planning on FTing in a TT, but I guess a fiver would be the same, as far as width goes. Never having towed a trailer over 8 ft (96") is 100" too wide to safely travel down narrow back roads, in road construction area...
For those of you military retirees, under age 62, do you fulltime with Tricare Prime or Tricare Standard? We are on Prime now and as I understand it if we go ahead and change our address to South Dakota, then we will have to change our provider area. I was just wondering how it all works for those that have...

We are registered to attend the Fall Rally in Goshen, IN and are really excited. As I put our plans together I am thinking about our plans for our 2 year-old lab, Ginger. Over the holiday weekend I had a long chat with a woman full timing alone in a Casita trailer. She sold her house in 2009 and bought the camper new along with a new Ford F150 2 wheel drive regular cab truck. She was very interesting and shared a lot of good information. There all kinds of full-timers out the...
We moved into the RV last night! It is still in the backyard of the S&B house, though. Tomorrow, we will move to the local KOA campground. The movers will be here Thursday to move the stuff we are storing into the environmentally controlled storage area. Monday is our closing day! We are praying for...
Mitch may have a long term contract position (1 yr) in which he would travel between Angola, LA and Cottonport, LA. From Google maps, it appears no more than about a 20 mile distance as the bird flies, but it appears that it is actually about 2 hrs or about 95 miles between the points because there is only...

Wow .. Florida is a big state.. I have 11- 50 mile wide circles, which represent 11 areas to vist. at 1 month each..in one winter..( I doubt it )maybe some will be cut down to 2 weeks.. Hi all, Let me give a quick background on this. I am workamping in a National Park and my toilet would leak a very small amount of water every so often (once a week or every other week). So I left some paper towels on the floor to catch the water. I noticed one day the paper towel edges were shredded, knowing...

Not sure if this is the right area.. but I plan to do a little of this as work on the road.. I have a chance to buy a 2005 38rl3 MS today.. Since I'm not leaving for a month..
