Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
Wow .. Florida is a big state.. I have 11- 50 mile wide circles, which represent 11 areas to vist. at 1 month each..in one winter..( I doubt it )maybe some will be cut down to 2 weeks..
Anyone care to mention areas of the state that have little or nothing to see or do? We don't care much for nature.. more into metro's, sight seeing, cool places.. etc..
For that matter.. Must see and do would be good. Trying not to miss anything.. I doubt we will ever make it back again.

Based on you comments I'd say to stick with the big cities/towns, rural Florida is pretty desolate for what you indicate you're interested in.
A couple of comments...
1. Florida is crowder in the winter so with our advance reservations you might have problems finding places to stay.
2. Florida is expensive in the winter, especially if you go south of Cocoa - Orlando - Tampa!!
Expensive and crowded. In Dec & Jan make sure you are south of I-4.....too cold north of that. West coast has more RV parks. Panhandle has great beaches good in shoulder months (Oct or March) Panama City etc. Things to see...South Beach in Miami, everglades between Miami and Naples, Space Center east of Orlando, Naples swamp buggy races etc....Enjoy.
Had plans to secure my art today.. but am sitting in front of the computer, trying to find at least the first few legs , down the west side to the keys..and make those reservations..
Not easy.. have a couple for the Inverness area..Tried calling.. closed til monday.. what's up with that? lol

My experience is snowbird parks, those that cater to long term winter visitors, only have office hours during weekdays. It is best to check in and check out only on weekdays between about 8 and 4 since the night and weekend help often has little authority or ability to make changes.
