Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
Hey all,
Some of the computer forums I frequent have occasional "meet ups". We are attending the Tampa Show on Thursday ( 1-18 ).

Hello everyone,
We figured it was about time to stop lurking and start posting. Having found this site has been very inspirational to us in that we are hoping to go full-time within the next few years. Like Howard and Linda, we are in our 40’s but don’t want to wait any longer. Wh...

Don't know how many of you watch RV Today on tv....It was a great 30 min. show that came on Outdoor Life channel that is now Versus channel. Well....when Versus took over, they dropped the show. I have rececntly read where the NPS is going to close some of its National Park campgrounds, due largely to budget cuts and reduction in campground usage.
The question is since most NPS campgrounds were designed and built years ago and can't take an RV much bigger than 35 feet (or less), and many mode...
I'm considering putting air bags on my truck. Has anyone done this? Is it worthwhile? What should i pay for them? How much to install?

I like to know, If you don't have a storage/garage to keep your RV or fifth wheel in when not in use, and it stays outside, how many of you cover your RV with one of those expensive covers???
I'd like to know what others out there do. Are they worth the money? Do they prolong the life and look of the exterior...

I used some Awesome Orange cleaner (from the dollar store, NOT the full strength version) to remove some black streaks that I always get from the drip rail on the top front side where the F/G cap meets the sides. Sprayed the cleaner on, let it sit for a few minutes and then washed it off, it cleaned the blac...
Let us be among the first!!
In the words of an old Celtic prayer,
May the road rise up to meet you,
and the wind be at your back.
Happy New Year and safe travels.

We've been thinking of taking a jaunt down to Baja for a few weeks, but can't seem to find much information on campgrounds and services available.
Since Jo used to think roughing it was staying at a hotel that didn't have 24 hour room service, I'm treading lightly here.
Anyone been the...
As you know,we're in the process of researching fulltiming in a Class A and were recently discussing all the "stuff" we'd have to get rid of. I can part with most of my furniture and a lot of "junk"...BUT what did you all do with things that you can't part with...like boxes and boxes of pictu...
Okay, it's a new day so here's a new topic.
Often you have to connect two sewer hoses with a plastic coupler. We have one of those red ones but the hoses leak where they join with the coupler. Anyone else have the problem? Any solutions? We tie a plastic bag around where they are joined and then dispose...

Also, what, when, and where is the Life on Wheels Univ...
I am always looking for new and interesting things that make RV life a little less cluttered. I discovered some collapsible storage bowls on one of our trips and thought they looked interesting so I bought two different sizes. I lilked them, but they are a little expensive (for storage containers). T...
