Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Hello from Georgia

Hi Everyone

We are Tom (63) and Barbara (60) and we live in Lawrenceville, Georgia. Our home of 26 years goes up for sale next week. Needless to say we are a little nervous, but at the same time we are excited about fulltiming and this new chapter in our lives. We have been planning this for more than a year and now the time is almost here.

This site has been so enjoyable and helpful to us in our planning. Many thanks to Howard and Linda and all of you who participate. Thanks in advance for all the questions we will be asking and we always look forward to your postings. Wish us luck in the sale of our house. Will keep you advised of our progress.

You will love it. We chose not to wait until the house sold but plunged in anyway. No regrets.

Welcome Tom and Barb:

I am sure we all wish you well. You will find so much love and brotherhood out here among full-timers that you will probably never look back, but if you do think about this: I try to live my life in such a way that I might be sorry for what I have done, and not be sorry I never did anything. Lives don't change and worlds never expand unless you step out of your front door. Howard and Linda have shown the way!

You can always move back to a stick house if this life style doens't suit you, but if you don't try it you will never know!

Hi fellow Georgians,
We were glad to see your post. Richard (41) & I (Nancy, 40) are from Atlanta. Just bought our rig last week and will pick it up in March after our apt. lease is finished. We just sold our home 2 months ago and don't regret it. We like you will be frequenting the boards and asking questions. Glad to be an official part of the community. Hope your home sells quickly and your kids don't think you're crazy. We're still having to deal with that from our parents.
