Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
For those of you that have the removable lower section on your fixed roof ladder do you remove & store each time you move location? Or have you attached it so you don't have to remove & store?
I finally got around to installing the PressurePro TPMS sensors on our rig and also got an infrared thermometer to check tire/hub temps with while transiting. Yesterday we were traveling from NY over to CT and passed through some decently hilly but definitely not mountains in the eastern foothills...

We are doing our resurch for a FT 5th wheel, and we both like the Alpenlite. I read in the RV Consumer Group report to be carfeull of units made after 2004. We found a 2008 34RLR Limited that looks very interesting, it still has the 4 Star rate. 2008 was the last year that Alpenlite was in business so...

Example: 86 degree outside, temp at thermostat will not go below 78 deg. Did not fix problem with generator. Have taken it back seve...

On Monday a police helicopter began circling the RV Resort. A few minutes later a siren was heard and a marked police car with siren and lights flashing began speeding through the interior roads of the resort. Next an unmarked police car was seen also racing up and down the resort roads. It seems th...
We have been looking at 5th wheels for several weeks and ran across a floor plan we really like in a Endura Max. Does anyone have one or know about them? -- Edited by Pinky-AzNative on Thursday 23rd of August 2012 05:28:17 PM

We've had the rig for one year and when I read that folks have had to add distilled water to the battery after a year I get nervous since I have no clue on where or how to do this. Can anyone help?
I was reading Howard and Linda's journal for today (August 20, 2012) in Yellowstone and they talked about the Bison and posted a few that they took. I commented about their pictures and then wrote that I would have to share one of my Bison photos. While we were watching a small herd in one area, I was lean...

Kim, Arri and I are officially full-timing since August 10th. We picked up our 2013 Landmark San Antonio last friday and had a few minor things corrected. We love it! Hello, all. I'm new here, but not really to RVing. I did a year and a half of "full timing" up until last summer, when I sold my previous RV. Heck, it was only a 17' Dodge Tioga II! Li'l bitty thing, but served me well. After about half a year in a cottage withOUT a rig, I both missed having one and a n...
Hi All, I retired on Thursday and our first trip was from Olympia, WA to Eugene, OR. We wanted to get a couple of things done at Guaranty RV where we purchased our 5th wheel. About an hour and a half into the trip we were in fairly heavy traffic in the center lane when we spotted a HUGE chunk of semi truck tir...
We are still in the research phase, looking around and deciding what we can comfortably live in and bring a Harley Fat Boy. Though we like the regular fifth wheel floor plans better for full-time living, we've stuck mainly to looking at toyhaulers thinking this was our only option. While looking aro...
