Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
I just had a photo restored by an online company and they did a fantastic job. The photo was of my wife when she was 2 years old. It hung in her mom's house all of the years whiles she was growing up. We got it when her mom past away and it hung in our hallway until I put it in a plastic container outside under a ta...
We are beginning our search for a used deisel pusher. We've looked at some beautiful rigs with both CAT C-7 and Cummins engines. Does one have a better or worse reputation than another? I keep hearing that Cummins is better, but I have no personal experience. Does one provide more torque than anot...
My older daughter is prenant, her due date was January 5 but due to a medical complication they are inducing her today. So I'm sitting here being an expectant grandma! This will be her 4th and my son has 2 girls so it's not the first grand baby, but it's still exciting and a bit nerve-wracking due to the hig...
Our thoughts, sympathies and prayers go out to those victims and families in the Connecticut shootings. What a horrible, senseless act of cowardness. It is so sad to see how badly the moral compass of our society is broken. GOD Bless all these families!
"If so, I wouldn't trust the tires based on the construction of the bikes.....It was weird the jig they used for the handlebars must be out of whack. Every handlebar was ****eyed, one side was lower than the other." On another thread I posted the above in answer to the thread. I went back la...

Howard, how many mikes have you logged since you started your journey and how many sets of tires have you gone thru, on both your rig and your two vehicles, just curious, thanks mark. it appears your F450 and Cambridge are still with you.
The Caboose actually went down the road today, for what was probably the first time in about 40 years!! I got the tires aired up again (the left side ones don't want to hold air, not sure if the tires are bad or if the rims are just that rusty) and stuck the magnetic towing lights on it, got it hitched up and...
The condo has been spiffed up, and it hit the listings on Oct 24th. Finally! Several showings are scheduled for this weekend, and an open house tomorrow. I buried St Joe last night. I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

Well, I'm sort of in a quandry and hope I can get some great feedback/advice/guidance. My fiance and I have agreed on a toy hauler. The 'issue' we are having is that he prefers an RV insulated with foam insulation, and the R-values for the units with foam insulation on my "want" list are some...
