Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

What a great forum! My wife Carol, our lab Echo and me are wanting to explore/test the RV life with a 6 month workamping trip starting in the spring 2014. Your contributions here have been and will be extremely helpful. My research has led me to shopping for a lightweight fifth wheel with a GVWR o...
It appears that we're going to have about a month between art shows from Mid - Sept to Mid-Oct. Both shows are in the San Fran Bay area, so we're not wanting to go too far away and then have to do a "mad dash" back. We'll both be working the weeks in between but will have 4 weekends to explore. We al...
We wanted to share this campground with our friends on this forum. While its not an "it" spot as in Howard & Linda, it's been a delightful place for us to regroup. It's on Highway 126 just slightly N. of a little town called Rainbo W and tSW of Eugene. We noticed quite a few RV Parks and Reso...
I would like to read your thoughts on an RV water softener. What brand to buy, cost, and is it worth the effort to load and unload? Thanks for sharing your ideas and thoughts.....Tommy

So, just purchased Winnebago Adventurer to start fulltiming in. I'm in the stage where I test it out at a stick-and-brick to have all of the advantages of a house in case I'm missing something, etc. One of my first problems is how damp my clothing is. It's been raining pretty decently here, and I can't...
So after a lot of researching, I've discovered a few tips like using mounting tape instead of drilling, etc. However I'm still pretty in the dark (no pun intended) about what to do in regards to my solar panels. I would like to be able to completely disconnect and go boondock for a week or so at a time. I wou...

Since it looks like we'll be more limited on space than we thought, we're considering folding bikes. We've managed to sell our tandem and our mountain bikes so we have a good replacement fund to start with in our search. Any recommendations or any brands to avoid? We like to ride paved trails, don't...

As a dreamer, I've looked at workamping opportunities just to see what could be out there when we begin our full time adventure. As well as the resume, many employers request a photo of you and of your rig. I understand the employer wants their place to look nice. So here's my question: Is it importan...

I activated the Google+ associated with my You Tube channel, and "people I know" popped up, that I have never contacted through any Google service, and are not subscribers or friends on You Tube. One was my brother, another was a guy who I briefly dated 3 years ago, another was a woman who fed...
I came across this little item, and I had been contemplating finding a place to hide the extra set of keys, I case I lost mine, and got locked out. Looks like it's about $50 on Amazon. It's a key safe you can put into your tow hitch receiver. Of course, if you are actually towing, not good, but I'm not towing,...
