Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Good morning all! I have a question I have not seen addressed here on this forum, not recently at least. I want to preface it by saying that yesterday I ALMOST had what could have been a bad car accident. Someone not paying attention to my blinker being on and entering the lane I was entering at the same...
Just finished up installing a new floor in our 2008 Berkshire. Lots of detail and photos here. It seems to have been a total success, so if any of you are thinking of replacing your rv floor covering, you may pick up a few pointers. If you have any questions, just ask.-Don
Thought I fixed the settings to remember all of my regular site passwords, but this site doesn't since I updated my iPad. I check the "remember me" box every time and it remembers all other site passwords. Any suggestions? Sherry

I have been shopping for an RV and know that on a limited budget I will have to tow the vehicle I have. Just wanted some feedback on how this car, a Honda 2008 CRV 4wd will do for towing. Thanks again for any and all advice. Roger
...now we have questions:) Last night we spent our first night in our NEW HOME at the dealers camp ground. We've came across a few issues that they'll address on Monday before delivering to our site for us. We're very pleased with it! It has a few upgrades and improvements we love, the headboard, TV plug...

Yesterday, October 1, 2013 was definitely a good day. It was spent driving from Colorado Springs to near Cripple Creek, Colorado to visit family in their new home (6000 sq ft in the woods), doing some foliage photography and then getting to finally meet Jack and Danielle Mayer in the Woodland Park ar...

Hi, I hope someone here can answer this for me as I can't find it anywhere online. I will be doing a lot of boondocking in my travels and I have a mobility scooter. I do not have an inverter just a converter in my small class "c". I am not worried about not having power to the unit at this time but I do...
I am so glad This Hospital has 50 amp Full hookups but at the same time I put more mileage on my RV going and returning here!!!! I am thinking while I go thru all that they have planned for me today about asking for a full Lobotomy or at least a simple case of Alzheimer's so we could just forget all about this...
Over on another website, someone posted a CNN Money story claiming that one of these cost $6,000,000 to build. In my searching, I found another site that listed the Dunkel Industries F750 at $500,000. Still a good sized chunk of change.Dunkel Industries Upper Deck MPV RV - The Ultimate Toy HaulerT...
Some of you may have seen this from RV Travel Newsletter. I think we will keep an eye on this product and get in on it when it rolls out versus a preorder. I love supporting start up companies, especially in this lousy economy! Hope all is well RV Dreamers http://www.scoutalarm.com/
We have just purchased an F-450 and are getting pretty close to purchasing either a used Teton or New Horizon. The GVWR of both units is 21,000 lb. We are considering a Reece 25k hitch but wanted to check with someone that knows about such things to see if this is an appropriate choice. Will there be an...

The post about Donner Pass got me to thinking. How does Donner Pass compare to Monarch or Molas in CO? I think Monarch is easier to drive but is a little longer. Is there any kind of directory/publication for the "drive-ability" of mountain passes? I'll be honest, I'm from Texas and the...
So the last time we got to put the key & turn it (no, we're not full-timers yet. Seven years and planning to go...) was to attend an oh so fancy Newport Polo tournament. We were asked to go by a colleague to join them for a match. There would be lots of food, drink, friends, dogs, etc. Perfect!, I excl...
For me home is where the rig is parked and Dale and Tazzy Kat are hanging out. When we first decided to go full time my boss was really cool with the idea. His only requirement was that I make sure we're staying where we have data and voice connectivity and if I have to fly, Dale has to get me to an airport. G...
We've been using this site to plan our trips and know what weather we might encounter. Hadn't really thought about it being something to share but when talking to a couple at our RV park last weekend we mentioned it. They had never heard of it and since they live in Reno and are frequently crossing Donn...
Hello Everybody! Hello fellow rv'ers. My husband and I are out shopping for our new toyhauler and have narrowed it down to two. We were planning to order a Thunderbolt XLR 35x14. Looks like our route is changing again and we'll be heading east out of Moab UT in a couple of weeks headed towards New Horizons in Junction City KS…which means taking I-70 straight east from Grand Junction through Denver. Looking at the wiki and grades on this route…it looks like the max grade is 7% on V...
