Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
Hi Howard! Thanks for the new "Ask Howard" category...I am sure you will get lots of good questions & hopefully not "GRIEF"! We are in process of doing our taxes as a fulltimer for the first time & were wondering if you knew of a publication that addresses some of the thi...
HI ALL!! So I have the pleasure of being the manager at a wonderful campground. I bake muffins and other yummy goodies and don't mind sharing. However it gets incredibly expensive. So my question is this. Would any of you be offened by a jar to collect change on the coffee table? Thanks Becky
Well, I just posted a question about prime spot for TV viewing under RV accessories, but thought I might put this question here...around campfire.(thought more gals might respond!)

I have used the handle of 'Gonnabee' on this forum and the Escapee Forum for seveal years. I am now going to have to come up with a new one as this will shortly be past tense. The SOLD sign went up this evening. We will be moving into the MH within the next 4 to5 weeks. We will stay in the Kansas City are...

Hi, For those of you who responded to your age when you started fulltiming who were under or around early fifties... do you continue to work on the road? did you keep your stick house as a back up? I guess how are you making it work?
We have 2 miniature schnauzer kids. One of them is generally friendly to other dogs, but the other is more likely to act a little aggressively to some, not all, other dogs. He's usually fine after the first or second meeting. To be on the safe side, I keep them both on a very short leash and control t...
We're about to order a Hitchhiker Discover America for our life on the road. My query to those of you who have been out for awhile, do you ever use your outdoor shower? We've had an outdoor shower on our travel trailer and the only time we even open the door is to winterize so we're wondering...

We'll be starting our full time RV lifestyle in just under three years. We have pretty much decided on a fifth wheel. I was under the impression that it was very common (usual) to tow a fifth wheel with a truck in the F350 range (dually diesel)....In checking out several forums over the last severa...
My wife and I will be full timing in just under three years. We have been doing a lot of research (reading, forums, RV shows, etc...) to try and get as much information as possible. Howard, What ever happened to your plan to "housesit" a B&B while the owners were away? I know that you took that training. Has nothing come up, or have you just not pursued it? Sounded like a great idea. Steve
Howard, Did you keep your License or are you able to put it in escrow like a CPA would do. Do you have continuing education that you have to keep up with?
Howard.....I haven't seen anything about fishing in the Rio Grande river with your Fold Cat?? Is it not a fishing river?? Are there any lakes close to fish in the RGV?? I figure you're not using your Kayak since you get to canoe weekly!!! Dh is an avid fisherman.
I don't know if I am in competition for asking the dumbest question here but we are new to the modern motorhomes. We were looking at some Motorhomes at a fairground sale a few weeks ago and we walked into a few that had the entry door up front in front of the passenger seat. My wife took one look at that...
We are early retirees (both in our 50's) with a decent pension. The plan is to sell our house and invest the money while we are fulltiming. It won't be a huge amount, likely less than 75K. We also expect to save some money each month based on the current expenses we're paying for the h...
I bet over the years, we have collected at least 20 bag chairs. But what I need is a good lounge chair !
Has anyone got any suggestions ? -- Edited by ken and cindy at 09:34, 2006-08-19

Hi we are full timer wanna be's. Our user name is our goal for the future....we want to be flea market gypsies. We currently dabble with buying and selling "junk" as our kids call it. We buy collectibles and antiques and resell at group shops and antique shows. The goal is to be able to hit...

I'm a new forum member, and have enjoyed reading the many posts on all kinds of interesting topics. Just wondering why I get a "broken picture link" indicator on many of the posts. They appear under pictures (for instance under Howard's picture), and in the bodies of the posts (ma...
