Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
I have used the handle of 'Gonnabee' on this forum and the Escapee Forum for seveal years. I am now going to have to come up with a new one as this will shortly be past tense. The SOLD sign went up this evening. We will be moving into the MH within the next 4 to5 weeks. We will stay in the Kansas City area until June 8 when Gene retires. I retire April 30th. We will be heading to SD to establish residency and then to VA to take some STUFF to our son, and IL to see new twin grandchildren in July/August depending on when they decide to come into this world. WOW is our life changing.
Howard, Gene and I met you guys in LOW in Des Moines last fall.
I want to thank Howard and Linda , Ed and Marilyn for all the advise and encouragement we have received from their blogs. It has been like a beacon out there that we have been heading for and now it is sooooooooo close.
We were also at the DesMoines LOW last year. Awesome to hear you are 'graduating'!!!
We are in Illinois so sounds like you may heading around our neck of the woods when its time for those twin babies to show up!!! Keep the 'family' here posted!!!

Ah.... Webeegone... Kind of like (lake?) Wobegon eh? You and your companion are about to make the prairie home! Or is that prairie home companion? Or something like that! Garrison Keillor and public radio will be happy for you. And so are we!
