Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
Work a little, golf a lot!! 34 hours per couple a week provides FHU and all your golf with cart.I just saw this work camper job posting on another site. What I am wondering is if the wife picks up the extra 34 hours, then all I would have to do is 'golf alot.' Sounds right to me.
We are looking at generator options and wondering what the noise level restrictions are in state, national and COE camping areas. Is there a certain decibel level that the genset must operate below? If so what is that level? Specs on the most of the units we are considering are 60dba or less at rated...

Some time back I saw references to a repair facility for the Ford Powerstroke, somewhere in Alabama. I bookmarked the website of the place, but it is on my desktop which is packed away and stored under the bed. I have looked on various forums, google searches, etc., and can't find it. Does anyone kno...

Now that we are close to realizing the full time dream, I would like to start a blog. I see that many of you are either at blogspot or my trip journal. I could really use some help deciding which site would be best. I would like to be able to have links at some point with campground reviews, etc. Also, can...
I'm sure that we all have the idiot light battery monitor in our rigs. My question is has anyone found a didgital battery monitor that can be placed next to the idiot lights and use the existing wiring ?
I thought I'd pass along this handy website for cell users. Enter your city, move the map near your location, then use the filter to select a carrier.http://www.cellreception.com/towers/It might come in handy for destination and campground planning purposes. Could be used with a signal covera...

Well, here we are in Nacogdoches, the oldest town in Texas and we may have found our new home! Anyone intersted in trading your late model Class C with slide outs for our 2006 Doubletree Elite Suites model 36TK3 ? We used it for 2 years fulltime and it was perfect for fulltiming with the Kenmore washer and dryer and the 2nd A/C, best insulation plus the 3-1/4" walls. We purchased our townho...
To anyone driving/towing an RV using a 2007 GMC/Chevy C4500 through C6500 a defect in the steering box has been discovered. (Don't know if this applies to other years) It's not a safety hazard, more of a nuisance issue. My C4500 steering has a grinding feel when you turn the steering wheel, this is acc...
