Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Newbies From Texas

We are Milt and Joella and are from a small town west of Houston.  We've been RVing a number of years, are retired and travel with two dachshund sisters.

We enjoy your Forum and are happy to have found it!

Enjoy RVing!
Joella

Welcome!

Paul and Brenda are right.  Great people and there is soooooooooo much here to read!

Don't hesitate to ask questions as the folks here won't hesitate to give you good advise.  I'm still in the dreaming mode but my research & education kicked into overdrive here.

Looking at:
F-350/Ram 3500 type truck, possibly an Airstream or a smaller 5th Wheel.

However, there is still time to change the configuration, just a plan.

I grew up near Hempstead Highway and 34th street west of Houston and graduated from Spring Branch, HS. Barb and I are 1-2 years from retirement and plan to do extended RVing, Barb's not ready to commit to full-time so we're trying to buy one of the houses on stilts on a canal in Bayou Vista as a base camp. They are RV friendly (tons of RVs parked everywhere) hope to see you on the road or at one of the rallies, Paul, Barbara and Sarah.
