Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
In our research of what we want to get, one thing my wife is concerned about is having to overnight in an area where we can not open the slides, but still need to have access to everything. In some models that have bedroom slides, the bad slides up against the dresser and has no access to the drawers or space...
Hi everyone! It's bee a while since I have been on the site. Our Fulltime date is still a little ways away but our research continues. Has anyone seen or heard about the 2014 Holiday Rambler Presidential FW? Looks like a good unit and much heavier than most. The price point is a little high at $114,000 MSR...

Has anyone built their own water filter stand? I have a single sediment filter prior to the water softener. I have seen stand for sale online and at Camping World. I am looking for some advice on how a holder could be made out of PVC pipe mounted on a short 2x6 that would house the filter from sun light. A...

I found a Winnebago Brave (not sure of the year but I'm guess it is late 90's) on Craigslist for $15,000. Just outside my budget but it seems to be in immaculate condition judging by the photos. New tires, well recorded maintenance. The only downside is that the RV has 79,000 miles on it already. If we...
Everyone's favorite topic, right? LOL The el cheapo blue plastic hose that came with the travel trailer has some pinholes and is leaking after just 2 uses, and I'm looking for a better hose. What brand/model do you folks recommend? Storage is limited with this trailer as it will be with the caboose,...
I posted a question here a little over a month ago and got so much help from you guys that I couldn't have hoped for more - except maybe you coming out and installing it So since you didn't I had to do it myself and decided that while I was at it I might as well record it and put together a video to provide a littl...
Has anyone camped at the Salt Springs Recreation Area in the Ocala National Forest in Florida and willingto share details on there experience and what (if any) cell coverage they experienced?
Hello! I stumbled onto this website and forum and I need to tell you - what a wealth of information for those of us considering becoming full-timers! My husband and my story has a lot of similarities to Howard and Linda, ( including the fact that I have always wanted to own a B&B!), so I really feel l...
Has anybody else had issues with the WFR after upgrading to this current firmware version? Ours (first our original Pro and then the Home that they sent us in case it was a bad upgrade) reboot themselves at least once a day. I'm working with Evan to figure out what to do next but wanted to check and see if an...
Our Norcold n821 has stopped freezing, and does a poor job of cooling. Where should I start troubleshooting? I'd rather replace the faulty part than buy a new refrigerator. We are on AC power, nothing has really changed, it just stopped working as well. The juice in the door is not even that cold, and th...
Hi. I'm new to this forum and to Solar power. I have ordered the parts for putting in a solar system on my 5W. I have done quite a bit of research, but as I'm quite anal about things I still have questions I haven't been able to find the answer to. For right now, all I want to know is: Do I have to change any o...
Tonight's BBQ Potluck in South Dakota was a blast. Ann-Hank are work camping and helped with all the logistics in arranging for several of us to get together with all the other work campers at their location. Dreamers in Attendance: Standing Bill & Loretta (Loretta), Dale & Ruth (NWEscap...
I have a Jayco 5th wheels that I intend to sell asap. I do not think it matters to go in details with my life but at this point we need a motorhome rather than a truck/5th wheels because of my husband’s health. This 5th wheels is almost new (it’s a 2012) and before putting it for sale, I wanted it to be impecca...
Hello All~ I have a question. I searched but didn't find quite what I was looking for. We just acquired a 1992 Winnebago Adventurer motor home. I am planning on taking it to an RV dealership the beginning of September to have a full inspection. Until then, everything seems to be working great, and the pr...
We recently purchased a 2007 Teton Liberty (36') with triple axles and a GVWR of 20,000#. We are planning to upgrade to the Mor/ryde IS suspension and disc brakes in early September. The tires that are now on the trailer are 16" Geo Trac E rated tires that we think are a very poor choice (very bad...
As I wrote in my bio, I'm a semi retired record producer, living in Nashville TN, where I've just sold my recording studio (I close on 9/10), and I'm contemplating packing a few things, and hitting the road w/my 1 yr old Border Collie mix rescue, Rowdy. I've got a lot to learn about what I'm sure will be a g...
This link will take you to a Google document reviewing the Pepwave Surf SOHO mobile router. I compare it to the WiFIRanger Go, and the Cradlepoint 95. If you have comments or observation based on your own use I'd love to hear them. The SOHO is a very nice product - take a look at the review if you are in t...

Is anyone going to be working for Amazon this year? If so which one and have you worked for Amazon before? We are going to be at the one in Coffeyville KS and this will be the first time working for Amazon. Just want a little insight as to what we should expect. Thanks for your help.
I do have to run my lease out at the house... but that allows me a year to find a 5er that will fit my needs for a stationary residence for another 5 years. If I find the perfect one I will prob go buy it and park it at the storage place for the remainder of my lease and "redo" it to my taste. I am looki...
Maybe this is just in Utah, I don't know. But so far we have traveled with in our state. We do hope to be on our way to Arizona or California before the Winter hits. But here is my question. So far we have been moving between counties. Every where we move we have to license our dog. I'm sure we would be fine if w...
