Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
We are long time members of AAA and have been more than satisfied. Now that we are Good Sam members we keep getting literature on their emergency road service. Appears to be a good plan. Does anyone have experience with it and/or able to compare to AAA? Thanks
We've been using Kaspersky firewall and anti-virus on our computers. Ours recently expired and before I spend another $80 to protect our 3 computers I'm wondering if there is a free alternative out there that works well. What are you folks using?
I have an RV park here in southern calif. about 20 mins from me that has some of the most expensive rates I've seen. I just wonder what the most expensive park you have seen or stayed in? You can pay as much as $2500.00 a month to stay at Newport Dunes in Newport Beach, CA. That's $2500.00 for a concrete pad a...

Okay, I'm a total rookie at this. We've set up housekeeping in our 98 Holiday Rambler Vacationer, and I can't get hot water. I filled the fresh water tank per the owners manual, but can't check the water heater, because I don't know where it is. The manual doesn't locate it, and it's been way too long s...

We are a couple about to buy our first RV to travel the country for an indefinite time. We have been checking all sorts of sizes, models, classes and from camper vans to full RVs. We have realized the size good for our needs is a Class C RV. After narrowing that down we have found numerous RVs for sale but...

Well folks, I haven't been around for awhile so here's a basic update for those who even remember me. :) We had a great Spring/Summer on the road. I started my posting on the Forum with a name that no longer describes me. How can I change it? I tried rejoining with a new name, but when I filled out the registration information it stopped me because my email is already in use. Thanks in advance.
Our indicator light for our black tank seems to jump up from empty to 2/3 full the first day or so after it has been emptied. It then stays there for a couple of days so we are not really sure when to empty. We are new to this so nee some help. How would we know if it gets stopped up? We put the enzyme cleaner dow...

My husband and I are looking into living in an RV full time. The trucking company he has been with for 20 years closed in Sept. of this year and he is looking for a new job. We are currently selling our house and we have been thinking of living in an RV instead of renting a house. I raise rabbits for show and pet...
Friends, I am about fed up with electrical problems. Pepwave has released a new product called the Pepwave Surf On The Go, which is similar to the Pepwave Surf Mini, however, adds 3G/4G wireless modem support! Since Jo and I are "static" full-timers and will be wintering in Oklahoma City for a couple of years yet, we wanted something that would be better than the stinky-slinky for our sewer. I wanted some thing out of PVC to get away from water in the crevices of the slinky hose freezing up and buil...
Hi all, I am seriously contemplating putting my house on the market and moving to a state I'd prefer living in. I'm disabled and want to get to a cheaper area and can't afford two mortgages, so I got permission from a friend of mine to hook up the RV at his house at least until I am able to sell the house (which...
