Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
Well Hello again everyone. We have gotten our chance to hit the road fulltiming. I talked to a few last year about getting out here and now this year we are here. Right now we are in Las Vegas until the 15th then we will be headed down to Parker AZ and then on to Yuma. We will end up in Phoenix around the end of the month. So far it has been awesome. Looking forward to meeting up with others out here. Drop us an email and let us know where you are. We have gotten into this boondocking quite well. We did the Walmart overnight parking for 4 nights and spent 4 nights on lake mead and loved it.
Thanks Genecop, it has been a very stressful last year. We had our house for sale for the last 2-1/2 years and no luck. So we made the huge and rough decision to give it to the bank and walk away while we still could. So the last week and half has been a un-stressing time just my wife and I with the three little dogs. Loving it more and more everyday. Wow what a feeling......

Things have been quiet but I didn't think it was because of unfriendliness. A couple other forums I go to have been warzones lately so this one feels very friendly to me. Maybe tensions due to the economy and elections have a few on edge?
It is also the time of year where people are thinking about the holidays and moving to their winter roosts so it is normally more quiet.

Congrats on making it to the fulltime life, even though it was a bit of a bumpy road getting there.
We're in the cleaning out stuff stage which is probably going to take a while longer. We managed to sell a rental home recently so that was a big step in the right direction. The main house we're living in will go on the market shortly after the first of the year if all goes well. Hopefully we'll get a reasonable offer on it and be on the road too!

Congrats on the fulltime life. We have 54 days (Jan 9) until we hit the road. House is on the market. Hopefully we can get a sale. Perhaps we will meet down the road somme day. Bill is right about this forum.

Congrats Dave & Cris on FTing! My DW and I plan on joining the FTing ranks in a few years. Wish we could do it right now - we picked out our 5er and the GMC Denali dually we want this past weekend. Now all we have to do is retire, sell everything, buy our new "rolling home" and hit the road! lol Glad to hear you were able to do it. Good luck, and hopefully we'll see you on the road sometime soon.

Thanks Bjoyce, RV Ron, Waggin Trails and Bull Dog for the up beat responsee. It has been very fullfilling getting out here and living this life.
We are boonedocking tonight just south of Quartzsite, AZ and headed down to Yuma tomorrow. It is getting nicer everyday.
Bjoyce, Yes i know of a few of them right now too. That is not much fun either. I hope you are looking for your winter roost also.
RVRon, We are so glad to be done with the selling all of the stuff. (What a task that is) It took us 3 huge Estate sales and still have things left for next summer's rummage sales. We still have a little store in our home town that we have to sell or move it on the road with us.
Waggin Trails, I hope you have a sale right away too. Then the fun starts!!! Selling all of the STUFF! it gets very overwellming...
Bulldog good luck and we will see you down the road when the time is right that you are able to get out and follow your dreams as we have.
Again thank you all

We will be in Port Saint Lucie, Florida for the winter starting just before Christmas. Right now we are in Jacksonville, Florida and had a great lunch today with some RV-Dreamers who are also in town. We will be getting together with some other RV-Dreamers here soon but haven't firmed up plans. Once you start getting together with RV-Dream community members you will have friends everywhere.
