Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Hello!

hello,  I am John and my wife Karla  still work (rats) but still enjoy camping and motorcycle riding. We have a 40ft Victory Lane (toyhauler) 5th wheel and tow with a FL60 Frieghtliner RV toter. I  came across this website while looking for information on fultiming. What a wonderful informative website. It truly is hard to stop reading once you start. We are currently lifetime members in Good Sam Club, we camped with a local chapter for about 10 years but our schedule would not let us continue. We both hope to retire early (next 2 to 5 years) as I am 54 and she is 49 and maybe do some work camping. Again hello hope I have not bored you with my first introduction to your forum.wink

Welcome, John and Karla.

With your past experience with all types of camping and RV'ing, you will fit right in here.  We look forward to your comments and your questions.  Feel free to indulge us with both as we all tend to learn from each other.

Howard and Linda have started a good thing with this website and it has drawn a lot of knowledgeable and friendly folks.  Of course, who could be more friendly than campers and RV'ers?

Here is hoping that we (Jo and I) can help you in learning about full-timing, even though we've only been full-timers since May.  While we are living full time in our Mobile Suites fifth wheel, we aren't traveling yet.  We've got a couple of years to go before retirement.

Good luck with the research and planning.

Terry

Welcome John, we are motorcycle riders as well. Maybe we'll see on the road either in the RV or the bikes.
