Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
I think I just need to blow off some steam, but I am really getting sick of "corporate" campgrounds. We come back to this park.....Vacation Village in Largo Florida every year because our kids and grandkids are all nearby. This year the park has been through 7 managers, never has anybody...

This Florida born and bred driver is headed out from Florida to Oregon starting mid March this year. I'm not sure what kind of weather related road conditions to expect as we approach the various mountain ranges in the west. 40' DP with a 12' trailer. I'm looking for suggestions as to where we should con...

Hello! My name is Mark Haines. I am an independent insurance agent, based in South Dakota. I have helped many people who live the RV Lifestyle obtain Major Medical insurance or Medicare Supplement coverage. There are a couple major medical companies that work well with RVers and MANY Medicar...

My wife, Peg, & I are glad to be here and really appreciate the vast array of knowledge which resides in its members. I only lurked here for today and certainly saw enough to know that this is the place to be for RV information and suggestions. We own a 2011 Forest River/Coachmen Brookstone 366 pu...
Hi all and Happy 2012! I'm in the market for a used diesel pusher for full-timing. Apart from RV Trader, does anyone know of any other good websites? Thank you. Liz
When fulltiming in a few months, we plan to buy the Millenicom Advanced Plan with the Novatel U730. Since we are going to spend several weeks in Canada, I will need cellular data there, at least 5 GB/month. Does anyone know if there is an affordable solution for that in the meantime? Last time I check...

Picking up our 2012 Nexus 31P on April 4th. Starting to get all the ducks in a row. Researched and asked for insurance quotes from 5 Insurance agencies. On the advice of Howard, Miller Insurance was one of these. Both Miller and Good Sam came in at the exact same price and both quotes were from GMAC. ...
Hi Everybody, I'm just checking in to say hello. I don't post much here anymore, since (not being an RVer and no longer going to be) I really don't have anything to add to what all you experienced experts have to share, and I don't have any more questions to ask since I will not be able to join you on the road....
I've always been a backpacker, tentcamper and pop-up camper, however I am getting my first 5er, a weekender until I am ready to fulltime. My question is....where does one get sheets that fit a 4" shorter mattress? I toss and turn a bit and loose sheets will just not work for me. Thanks for your h...

Hi,
Just wanted to jump in and say hi. I'm the navigator for our new Allegro open road. Although I drive it sometimes, most of the time I have the Laptop, GPS, and maps on the computer table telling my husband how to get to our destination (wherever that might be). Look forward to meeting some of you on the...

I am new to the forum because I recently started a new position in a City about 100 miles away and am considering purchasing an RV to live in during the week while I work. Cut and Paste from DSLReports forum News from Millenicom .... From Corporate: "Millenicom is adding an Unlimited 3G/4G Plan that will work over the Sprint footprint starting February 1st. They are using the Franklin U600 (USB device with 4 external antenna ports). Pricing stays the same as...
Trying to figure out the best route, with our RV, to get to Kernville, CA. Don't mind hills, but hate twisty roads with steep ups and downs that go on for miles and miles. I read online that 155 out of Delano has a very steep decent from Alta Sierra. Any Dreamers familar with the area that could offer so...
Can I post an ad for a non member. Friend of mine has a Double Tree Elite Suites 36'. Don't want to break any guidelines here and too lazy to look them up.
I noticed in this months FMCA magazine that "CallATN" has a one page advertisement for cell service.
Anyone know anything about them? What network do they use? The plans seem to have good prices but is there a catch, like a very limited coverage area? What am I missing?
My wife came up with the idea, a couple of month ago: To get rid of our house (with the equity that was once in there vanished anyway), move in an RV and criss-cross North America, experiencing and enjoying the Great Outdoors. We had been RVing several times with rented motorhomes before, the most rece...
We are looking for a portable satelitte system and was wondering which model is a good one and who to subscribe with, and is there one that also offers internet service as well as TV?

This is a great rig. It is meant for full timers who want luxury at an affordable price. It tows very well, it is 4 season. This ri...
