Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Encore Parks

I think I just need to blow off some steam, but I am really getting sick of "corporate" campgrounds.  We come back to this park.....Vacation Village in Largo Florida every year because our kids and grandkids are all nearby.  This year the park has been through 7 managers, never has anybody in the office to answer a phone, had the safe stolen out of the office and a district manager, Terri Pennix, that could care less about anything except her BMW.  We have been looking at other campgrounds and have decided this is the last year for us.  Slowly but surely people are not returning and the ones that come in complain about the lack of EVERYTHING.  The claim they have planned activities, but if the residents didn't plan things there would be no activities.  The hookups are OK at best, laundry room has alot to be desired and the roads are horrible.....not to mention a sinkhole in the back of the park.  Don't ask me why we came back this year, but it will be our last.  So if you are coming thru Pinellas County ( Clearwater, Largo, Seminole, Dunedin, etc ) cross off Vacation Village on Ulmerton Road......

Thanks for letting me vent.....I feel much better now

I agree with Bill, a review on rvparkreviews would be a good idea. I now I refer to them all the time and I pay attention to the bad reviews.

Just for fun you should go and see the reviews that have been posted for this park already.  Makes me wonder why there is anybody here!!

I checked the RV Park Reviews. No good reviews. They all indicated that this place is a dump. No way would I consider this park.
