Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
Any one ever have one of those? I did Thursday for a surgery..........Pretty scary feeling. I had a Hydrocelectomy, had the lump for a couple years. Finally called in after a long waiting list. There were issues with what method to go with because of Sleep Apnea. So decided to go with the Spinal Tap. Aft...
I'm just curious, how many of you out there had to get an endorsement on your license for your RV? We're looking at a 40+ foot Class A diesel-pusher RV and here in Nevada you are required to take a written as well as a driving test to get a Class B license. If you had to take the driving test, what was involved?...

Hi all, Just had a pretty miserable visit with Aspen Dental as a new patient and wondered what folks are doing about a dentist. We had the same one for 13 years and I thought he was terrific. I chose Aspen because they have a large network and I was trying to avoid being a new patient every time I got a clea...
We picked up stink bugs in Pennsylvania shortly after we picked up our Baby Girl. We have cohabitated with stink bugs ever since. They are everywhere! Not sure if they are multiplying like rabbits, or if they just exist across state lines. Regardless, how can we get rid of them??? Just recently th...
Hi everyone! First-time RV buyer, here, and we're trying to figure out what exactly we're looking for, so we can narrow it down a bit. We're not limited by location as far as where we buy from, only know we DON'T want to buy from Camping World, and are looking at $45,000 max. I work from home, and my boyfrie...
Predictions of over two feet of snow beginning tonight and finishing up Wednesday morning have me severely down in the dumps. We've been so lucky this year so far and missed almost every snowstorm that I guess I was spoiled and tricked into thinking we wouldn't get hit with a huge storm this year. How wr...

Hello everyone! We just bought our 5th wheel today and will be fulltiming in a couple of weeks. We have decided on the Splendide washer/dryer combo that is meant to be vented. Our 5th wheel already has the hooks ups so we just need the vent installed. The dealer is telling us it will take 5 hours to intall t...
I have finally gotten to the point that I am sorting through all the pictures. The plan is to scan them all and that brings up how best to organize them. I have pictures "inherited" from both my Grandmother and my Mother that go back to the 1920's, Some of these are going to be a challenge to i...
Thinking about applying at Elma RV park for a workamping position. I thought I remembered someone from RV dreams working there a few summers ago but can't remember who it was. I would be interested in getting their feed back about the time they stayed there. Feel free to private message me if that wou...

We are heading to Arizona and I am overwhelmed at the number of parks to choose from. There are probably some that are full, but I don't even know where to start. We prefer a pull through with full hookups and long enough for our 40' 5th wheel. Where is your favorite place in Arizona?
There have been discussions in the past about credit cards. I'm here to revive the topic. In the last two short months we have had to cancel our credit card TWICE because of fraudulent charges! The first time (November) there was a charge from an online digital music service, and the second (this we...
I was completely shocked to read that Judy, the "Bird Lady" of Travels with Emma was not invited to return to her volunteer position at Imperial Dam NWR. After following her blog and reading all the great comments about her on other RV blogs it was hard to understand it. There are so many fu...

It's been some time since I was on the forum and we are in AZ for the winter. Since there are numerous areas to boondock and campgrounds that you can park an RV at but they don't have any hook ups I wanted to know more about batteries. My wife is not real keen on the idea of boondocking so I don't plan on do it a lo...
We're considering a 2-3 week stopover next spring as we leave AZ headed to central CA and thought it would be fun to see Lake Mead, never been there before and know very little about the area. I've started researching all the different possibilities for camping and given how huge the lake is, not reall...
My wife and I are new to the rv world. Recently purchased a 1987 Winnebago Elandan 37RQ. First RV for both of us. Needs some minor work, but all in all seems to be a pretty solid motorhome. Looking forward to all the good advice we can get and getting out on the road with the grandkids.
