Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
Greetings. Just a quick note from sunny SW Florida to say hi and say how much I enjoy this awesome site! My wife and I are avid part-timers in our 1996 Class C Dutchmen/Thor(30'). We're working toward moving up to a Class A and becoming full-timers...but not for a while yet. In the meantime, I'll enjoy th...

Unless you have an antenna or amplifier this won't really affect you, but if they change bands it could further complicate amplifiers. Right now Verizon is using the 'C' block on the 700Mhz band, which is what the 4G LTE amplifiers are designed for. They're now looking to pickup some of the AWS band (Ty...
Just curious about this. I see great rigs at great price online all the time, but few of them are in our area. I'm just wondering, have any of you purchased a rig from a distance? If so, did you: Travel to see it or hire someone to do an inspection? Travel to pick it up or have it brought to you? I've seen a few de...

Since being at our campground for the last week, our Progressive Industries EMS-30 has cut power to our coach at least 3-4 times per day due to low voltage. Because we are the Host in the park, we do not have the luxery of moving our rig to another pedestal, an electrician is coming out to take a look at thi...

For many of you, this will not be a new topic, although one piece of air equipment might be. However, for those new to the searching and choosing process, it might just be valuable. On another RV forum where I participate, questions were raised as to how to easily fill and test the tire pressure on dual...
We took delivery of our new 2012 F450 today and ordered a RuggedLiner tri-fold hard top tonneau cover. Yea!! Only another month and we'll be getting ready to leave out of Kansas to head home with the rig. Now if somebody would only buy our sticks and bricks.

I was just reading MaryBees workkamping post (congratulations and best fortune on your gig, MB) and the question of estate sales came up. We're at the "getting rid of stuff" stage of our plan for full timing and I wonder if anyone has ideas/experience/advice on this process.

When the DW and I are on the road, I am usually the "chef." Meaning that I cook well - but my clean up skills are horrible. I recently bought some packaged food that I did not use all of when cooking a meal. When I bought the product, I did not notice that it did not come in a Zip lock package. So to tak...
Hey everyone. Firstly, thank you so much for all the information you provide. For a greeenie who barely knew what a toad is (it's green---right!), you really have helped us. Ok, know you guys are tired of hearing "what truck do I get" questions. It's complicated and need to make sure we...
We need to camp near downtown Denver for 3 weeks this summer to host our daughter who is interning at the Natural History Museum there. Any ideas beside Cherry Creek State park? Trying to get a little closer to downtown. Casinos? Fairgrounds? Thanks!! Matt
I have a Pheonix faucet in now, the white one with the sprayer head. Our last trip out it broke where the black plastic extends up in the sprayer head. I can still use the faucet but I have to pull it out and lay the broke end in the sink so it won't spray everywhere. I went to the local RV dealer and they coul...
