Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

I was looking at the sticker inside my RV with the recommended tire inflations, and it looks like the front is 80 psi, and the back 90 psi. Is that common, to have 2 different inflations, front and back?
Greg has some minor mobility issues, so we are looking at purchasing a folding electric bike for him to use for getting aroung at the RV parks. Has anyone tried these? Any feedback appreciated. I would be getting just a regular folding bike for myself ( I need the exercise, lol). We plan on storing both i...
Well, we've been in the Longmont CO for almost 3 weeks now. Truck suspension system (Force Flex) is now installed and we're ready to hit the road. Oh yeah, except they are all closed in the direction we want to go. Last night we were told to evacuate the campground we were in, Dale could see the water...
We currently live in Louisiana, but we are officially full-timers now. We sold our home in February after having it leased since October 2008. We became work campers after leaving our "real jobs" in 2008. My husband was in management for a rent-to-own company, and I was an English teacher...
really like the tiffin allegro bus but it's all electric. If we had solar on the roof with all electric coach, can someone give me the pros and cons? Thx in advance.
I started camping in the shell of my pickup for many years. Then I bought a Class C used in 2003. I still have it. I didn't like it as much as I had hoped. When fuel went up so much in 2007. I pretty much stopped any long trips. I would go to the beach here in FL. But, that was about all. Anyway, I would like to RV ag...

I don't know much about the line other than it will be higher priced and a more luxurious line of montana fifth wheels. One addition is a residential fridge with solar panels and a 3500 watt inverter. I am interested in learning more about this line. The current montana line has our interest primarily b...
I did a search and still can't find any topics on Arizona as a domicile state. There are lots on SD but we're wondering if anyone uses AZ and what are the pros and cons... Is there a website that helps one choose by giving the rules of each state? We sold our house in June and have been camping in NH for the summ...

As I was lying in bed last night I was thinking about how much fun we've had workamping at this small private RV park. We've met and laughed with two ladies in a big class A who have decided to downsize, so they held a come and get it free open house last weekend. We understand great things were given away, in...
OK, I'll do a review... this was a nice park, very conveniently located, within a 15 minute walk to downtown Mount Shasta City (1/2 mile?) Grocery store within walking distance, and all the groovy New Age stuff, as well as auto parts, a computer shop, and everyone was really nice. The park has a nice Lau...

So, I think we sold the last boat we built, BrooksBoatworks . It was a 12 hr drive from eastern NC to Stuart Fl, none stop with 2 drivers, clean and prep the boat for a seatrial (perpective owners with a backgound check completed). They loved the boat, left a deposit, and we trailered the boat home.......
Hi All!Bill and I are seriously looking at 5th Wheels, specifically Montana's or Cedar Creek. He seems to (at least initially) prefer Ford trucks, probably a 350 diesel dually. Not sure of any more of the specifics on the truck, but I'm sure he knows. So, my question is: do you suggest getting a tru...
