Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

New Montana Line

I don't know much about the line other than it will be higher priced and a more luxurious line of montana fifth wheels. One addition is a residential fridge with solar panels and a 3500 watt inverter. I am interested in learning more about this line. The current montana line has our interest primarily because of floor plan options.

Sounds exciting. If DRV is not in my budget, this is #3 on my list (#2 being a Heartland). These features may change that. I don't see reference to the solar panels on their website though, but it does say 4500 converter in full-time package.

I wonder how the cost will compare to DRV?

Cheryl, check out Lifestyle Luxury RV, as well.  I think you will be pleasantly surprised through and through!

That is one of the beauties of living in this country.  RV's are almost required to improve their products in order to stay competitive with all the other brands.

While DRV introduced some new lines in the last few years (Tradition, Full House, Mobile Suites Estates), they haven't rested on their laurels with regards to the older line either.  They have continued to add amenities that weren't on earlier models.  At Alicia and Slade's Rolling Retreats "Inventory" page, they have listed the new changes for the 2014 1/2 model year.  While DRV added the Mor-Ryde LRE suspension as standard on the new models, one can still upgrade to the Mor-Ryde IS system if one is ordering, or if they find one that was built with them.  For some reason, I'm thinking that the Elite Suites line comes standard with the Mor-Ryde IS system.

I guess we are living in a good time for all the changes.  Some companies have gone out of business, but in spite of the economic downturn in 2008, at least one local dealer in Oklahoma City has stated that their sales in RV's have actually increased.
