most use an auto dish..(it will simplify and line up on the satalite almost on its own) you can also get a Tailgator , you take the cube outside aim its tail north and it does the rest......or you can do it old school , go out set up the dish attempt to aim it 24 times then get frustrated and smash it....then for good measures simply just put it under the drive tires and give it a decent burial!!!!!

dish network you can get a no contract system pretty cheap without having to sign your life away!!

just a quick recommendation for the Dish Tailgator antenna coupled with the 211K receiver. They are pretty much fool proof as long as you have a clear shot at the southern sky. The auto dish locks onto the sat's on it's own so all I had to do was make sure it was sitting in a secure place where it got a good shot to the south and we were good to go.
I usually sit it on the 5th wheels roof with a cable locking it to the the ladder (it sit between the ladders rails at the very top). This sit up worked very well when we had the 5er but have since traded for a Class A that already had an automatic dish permanently mounted on the roof so we sold the portable.

We also have the RV2Go programming through Dish. We can choose whether we want programming for the next month or not with no penalty. Last summer we worked at a park that provided good cable TV so we "discontinued" our Dish account and "re-activated" it when we headed back out on the road in the fall. Worked out great for us! We also have an external hard drive we purchased at Best Buy that plugs into the Dish receiver and works as a DVR. You have to pay a one time fee to activate the DVR service but really love being able to record shows especially when Dish has one of their free week ends with HBO, Showtime or one of the other "premium" movie channels.
