For those of us that has not sold our S/B homes, has anyone rented or leased their property while it was still on the market for sale. What are the Pros/Cons. The reason I ask is that we have a gig for the summer, and I would also much rather be some where warmer next winter. With the economy being what it is...

I'm wondering how many of you have RVs with heated tanks. Seems like a good thing to have even in Florida in these changing weather conditions. But I don't know if it's a common feature or an add on that folks request. I searched for heated tanks on the forum but it doesn't look like it's been discussed b...

I spent my early years growing up in Pasadena, CA. We always spent New Year's eve sleeping on the blvd. and sitting up all night waiting for the parade. One of my "bucket list" items is to see the Rose Parade one more time in person. My parents used to park their RV on a side street and we'd set...

Well, the latest winter storm(s) have us laying over in Effingham, IL probably until Monday. We arrived at Camp Lakewood yesterday evening. I know I read it. I don't know why I didn't save it. Or if I did, I now can't find it. I've tried using Howard's search box but no luck. Linda and Howard I know that your time is winding down in Savannah, but last year we spent 3 weeks in Savannah and had a ball. I hope I am in the right site to ask this question, forgive me if not. Is there anyone out there fulltiming in a Winnebago Journey DL 36GD? Just thought I would give everyone an update on our FT progress. We made the decision to FT last November (2009) and put our house on the market in March. Well, the house is still not sold! Reduced it $5,000 twice so now the asking price is $10,000 less than where we started. (And would take an offer $5,...

Just a quick question to the full-timers from a gonnabe. I was just curious to know if Thanksgiving day is just another day on the road or do you make a traditional meal in your RV's?
