This forum has been an invaluable resource for hubby and I as we went through many years of wishing and hoping. Finally, after getting the truck in 2019 (2019 Dodge Ram 2500 diesel), this year we purchased a 2020 Arctic Wolf 305ML6 fifth wheel after selling our much loved Springdale travel trailer. I w...

Sad to See the Forums Go Away

This has been a great source of information for a good many RV'ers that were researching on how and what to consider for full time living in an RV. There has been an extreme amount of knowledge shared here by so many people who have participated in the conversations. Even though I have had a good deal of...

Farewell RV Dreams!
(Preview)
Damn - totally made me tear up typing that “subject” Back in the summer of 2013, I started researching this crazy full-time RV lifestyle. My husband thought I was nuts. He loved the idea of it but never thought we could do it before official retirement because it would be too expensive. We were both 48 y...

Bed Clearance

Haven’t been on here in a long time. Our rv dream has started to happen oh so slowly. We finally pulled the trigger and purchased our pickup, a 2019 Dodge Ram 2500 diesel shortbed. I knew this would be the place to ask our question(s) about bed clearance. We are zeroing in on one or two different 5th wheels...

I joined RVillage back when it was new, but eventually dropped out because most of what I saw there was a duplicate of what was posted on other forums I was on. We're now looking at a different brand of RV, and it seems that there is more discussion on that brand's section on RVillage than on the actual owne...

We bought a pickup and a small 5th wheel and should be on the road by early March. It's a crazy mess right now, but is starting to fall into place. we boug...

Coronavirus on the road

The wife and I are having a discussion. Are full-timers less or more susceptible to contracting COVID-19 (or any other disease) as we move about the country? We typically relocate every 3-4 days (except during our "wintering over" stays) and usually have only casual contact with other campers. So b...

Hello everyone....I'm using my hubby's account here to ask this question. Now I know it's been discussed over and over, and is simply a matter of preference. Water Softener Question

I have been using an On The Go water softener for about 3 years (it is the 16,000 grain model). It is heavy and as I age, it seems to get heavier 😉. Been thinking about replacing it with two 8,000 grain units ... connected in series, it should offer the same amount of softening but each unit would weigh hal...

Poor Judgement ?

While this situation might not pertain to most on this forum, the story might be relatable. We tow our car on a dolly. Recently we had to leave it in the storage area during a several week stay.
