Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

My first attempt to post here failed so I am trying again because that's the only way I'll learn and that's sort of how I feel about joining the RV life. No experience there either but willing to learn. Just came from Howard and Linda's workshops in Columbus and they called me their "groupie&quo...

We have a 2008 Mobile Suites. We want to remove the couch. We're wondering if the back of the couch can be removed so we can take the couch out the door in pieces? I've read that the hideabed mechanism can be removed, so we'll do that. Anybody know if the back comes off? Thanks!
I have noticed on several posting for Used RV's that there are three engine descriptions: 8.1L Vortec Engine 8.1 Chevy Engine8.1 with the Banks System. Are these all the same engine or are there differences?

It was recently suggested on another thread that tire ratings matter more than the axle rating of the TV. My head is having trouble with this. If I apply that logic, I could simple put some serious heavy duty load rated tires on and problem solved. Not quite though, as I'd still be concerned that there w...
AAA has agreed to replace my hitch, toolbox and bike rack, thank goodness. What do I need to consider in my research? Thanks in advance, this board is the best resource around!
QUESTION ONE Has anyone had any buying experience with PPL Consignment on the PURCHASING/BUYING side of the equation? They seem to have very good deals on Consigned RV's. One thing that I am a little concerned with is if they actually can perform an inspection for you of the RV that you want to purchas...
Strange Question: (and I've had my share of them this month (Sigh...See Cheryl's blog for details!) AC seems to be fine EXCEPT for the fact that my Bedroom unit is NOT shutting off. It seems to be running 24X7 (unless I shut it off at the thermostat control in the front). is it possible that the sensor in...

We will be visiting this area in CO and want to see the Sand Dunes NP. We think we might stay at the state park. Can anyone give us an idea of how much time you have spent viewing the Sand Dunes Park. One day or two? We will then be going to the Uncompahgre NF and hiking part way up the peak there with family....
Looking at a Workamping job at Sun Life Resort in Mesa Az for next winter. Does any one have any feedback on this resort, the staff, or area in general. Thanks

I own a 2012 Montana 313RE I have travelled with over 40,000 miles. While it is a great 5th wheel with only minor flaws, it's not really suitable for longer stays in winter weather. I have added a few things that made 2 or 3 weeks manageable under freezing conditions, but it wasn't too comfy, so I'm think...
