Deep Cycle Battery Questions
(Preview)
Seemed like the best place to ask: As a 'newbie', a deep cycle battery is meant to be drawn down to say 30-50% and then be recharged (yes?) and such a battery has an approximate expected number of life cycles (yes?) If you are hooked up to shore power or your truck connection and your battery gets recha...

Do you think this is a good back-up camera for my 5ver?
(Preview)
I have looked and looked and read and read and now I am just plain confused on what back up camera I should get for our 5ver.... There are SO MANY choices! I don't want to spend thousands of dollars, I see this unit from Rear View Safety has some good reviews. Is there anyone who has a back up system that ca...

Wood Stoves?
(Preview)
Has anyone seen or used RV's with wood stoves in them as a heat/cooking source? I would think that because they are closed instead of open like a fireplace, and the area around the stove was designed/constructed of the proper materials, a wood stove could be used without fear of fire in an RV.

Do I need slide covers???
(Preview)
We're looking at buying our 5th wheel and it doesn't have the slide covers. They want to charge us $1600 for 3 slide covers with installation. Do I really even need slide covers?? The sales lady says that they're mainly for people who stay put for extended periods of time.

Bikes on the 5ver

So what's the best way to carry a couple of bikes on the back of the new New Horizons. I searched and found lots of discussion on trailer hitch mounts but we didn't order a hitch on the Majestic so that's out. We're taking our Mazda 6 as our daily driver to start but it doesn't have a hitch on it either so the hi...

Great New Product

I purchased one of these and have to pass this on. It's the LOG TEEPEE Campfire Grate. It holds your firewood in a upright position so it gets more air to the fire and burns a lot better. You don't have to poke at the logs anymore to position them so they get air to burn. This works great and I highly recommend...
