Newbie looking to buy travel trailer.
(Preview)
Hi all, I am seriously contemplating putting my house on the market and moving to a state I'd prefer living in. I'm disabled and want to get to a cheaper area and can't afford two mortgages, so I got permission from a friend of mine to hook up the RV at his house at least until I am able to sell the house (which...

Where are the Sunnybrooks?
(Preview)
We have a 2004 Sunnybrook Titan. At the time we purchased it, and still, we thought it was a beautiful rig. Just curious though. I rarely see any mention of a Sunnybrook in any of the RV mags or on any RV shows, or even see any on the road. Where in the world are they and why are there no mention of them??

RV's For Less
(Preview)
Hello All Does anyone have any experience dealing with "RV's For Less" in Knoxville? Looking at their website they seem to have very good prices and I like the idea of dealing with a smaller, family run business. Any feedback would be appreciated.

Dual Pane Windows
(Preview)
I know that most swear by their dual pane windows. My question is for those who have a fifth wheel with the dual pane and have had it for 2 or 3 years or longer. Have any of you experienced having the seal break and gotten moisture between the panes? If you have, did you have it fixed and about how much did i...

Question about 2012 DRV Front Cap
(Preview)
We are about to make a decision on a DRV Moblie Suite 36RSSB3. We found that we really like the new bedroom walk-in closet with two doors and the dresser in left side. Cedar lined shoe boxes on front wall. We went to suiteowners.com forum and found that some of the owners toured the factory and was told tha...

Washer/Dryer stacks revisited
(Preview)
Okay Speedhitch "Et Al", Read the threads on W/D combos and I get the gist that Kenmore or Splendide seem to be preferred. As I understand, 110v/120v will take a lifetime to dry. Went to Sears website and looked at the Stacker units and they are saying 220/240v. What did the Kenmore buyer...

5th Wheel Toy Hauler as a full timer rig?
(Preview)
Doing research and one thing that my DW and I like is the idea of a toy hauler, not to haul anything big, but as an optional separate room for computer work or hobbies (I guess that’s why we have stayed together for 30+ years so far. We’re never in the same room at the same time). Most toy haulers I have s...

I have heard that Country Coach, Alpine and Western are now all out of the business. The question is, should a person avoid a brand which no longer has a manufacturer in business? What about warrenty work or O.E.M. parts?

Hi everyone, I'm wondering about sizes of campers - my husband and I are full-time dreaming. We live in a fairly large home (abt 1000 sq ft) but really do not utilize much of that space. We have an 8x8 office that we spend the majority of our time, and in the evenings we sit up in bed watching movies. We real...

Does it matter what state you purchase your RV in? For example, does it have to be in the state you live/domicile in or can you purchase it anywhere USA? If so, what are some of the extra costs and issues you might face? Thanks,

I'm a firm believer in buying quality. I'm also a firm believer in financing as little as possible. Because of those two firm beliefs, when we finally make up our minds on what sort of RV we want for FT use, we will be buying both parts (truck and towable or MH and toad) used. We've gotten many good suggesti...
