I just came in from shoveling the FIRST foot of snow from our driveway. Yep, you read right...the first FOOT! We're having a major winter storm here in Colorado and it's supposed to continue snowing for the next 24 hours (it started about 18 hours ago) with at least another foot expected! As I was sho...

My hubby and I had listed our RV for sale and we had a nice couple come and look at the RV tonight. After showing them the rig, we got cold feet. Jo and I are currently camping NW of Pagosa Springs and since I have been dragging in a wee bit of dirt, she came up with a question. You see, Jo doesn't do forums, so I get to ask any questions that she comes up with. And usually, they are good questions. What are all of you using for an outdoor carpet or mat...

When we lived in the Sticks and Bricks home, I had a Craftsman shop vac that was a fabulous tool. Now, after 6 weeks on the road I see a need for something other than the upright we use in the coach. This question is for all of the full timers. I'm wondering where you went on your first full time RV trip? Right now I'm thinking I'll head for Florida because it will be Fall when I start. This is just an alternative for some extra room if boondocking for a while as we do in Big Bend Valley for the winter for about 6 months, mixed with side trips on the motorcycle, sidecar for Spirit and a small tent. The fat lady came into town this morning (Tuesday, September 1) and sang her sweet song. This has been the fourth closing in my life and the last damn one I ever want to deal with. Those of us that are transitioning or thinking about it, come from bricks and stix and I often wonder how I will live without certain creature comforts that I currently take for granted.
