Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

We've used Alternative Resources http://www.alternativeresources.net/ in Sioux Falls since we went full-timing in 2001 and have been very happy with them. They've always been very helpful with all our mail and vehicle registration needs.

Somewhere on this blog: warnerrvnews.blogspot.com the warners mentioned becoming domiciled in Sioux Falls SD and doing it all (insurance, voter card, mail service, etc.) within 3 blocks of each other.

Hope that helps, Ron

Call Terry with "My Dakota Address" at 1-866-202-2163
She has been very helpful to us. We have not declared SD as our domicile yet since we just began full-timing and the weather is not right for a visit to SD. LOL
She came highly recommended to us several years ago and we have talked with her recently.

We used http://www.mydakotaaddress.com for several years while we maintained South Dakota residency. Terri is excellent to work with and refunded our postage & package fees balance when we recently established a residence in NV...no questions asked.  Madison, SD is also a quaint town to visit!

We have been very satisfied with Alternative Resources in Sioux Falls. Been with them since we've started and had no issues. Plus they are friendly folks.

Alternative Resources in Sioux Falls made our transition to SD residents a snap. We walked into their offices on a Monday morning at 8:30 a.m. By noon that same day, we had a new address and personal mail box, SD drivers' licenses, transferred licensing for the toad, registered to vote, and headed back out of town. Everyone we came into contact with, including government employees and motel staff, was helpful, gracious, patient, and friendly. Once we finalize the purchase of the MH, they will get it licensed for us for a nominal fee.

We recommend Alternative Resources!

I am also very satisified with Alternative Resourses.  Also, next door is Dougherty Insurance, who I got insurance through and they seem very good.  A pleasure to deal with and the rates were very competitive.
