Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Howard And Linda Finances August

Been anxiously checking for the finance updates on the journal from Linda and Howard that look forward to each month but nothing and we're almost at the end of September.   Just curious have they stopped reporting them?  Also when I search on the finances section just shows up to May in there.

Realize everyone lives differently but certainly find it beneficial, as I'm sure do many others for tweaking and adjusting our budget, to study many folks and adjust for how they might travel compared to ourselves.

Likewise. absolutely love the write ups of your travels you share on your blog - can so relate to you and Diane and your way of travelling, thought patterns and more = thanks for sharing as you do.

Thanks for the kind words, it was because of people like Linda & Howard sharing there expenses that make us want to do the same thing in hope it might interest others like we were. We just do it at the end of each year however.

We had a busy summer of playing and I got behind on the posting of the financials.  I have June, July, and August ready but just need to take the time to sit down and post the details.  smile

Thanks for sharing Howard. The write up explanations as well certainly help to keep us attune as to where we can easily at times go over budget, whether through an unexpected event or just having a wee bit more splurge here and there, and how it can quickly compound to a much larger figure over time if not revisited often. It's all wonderful reinforcement.

Nice to read your hard work and dedication over the years is coming to fruition on the financial front as you referenced in your post. Kudos to you both.
