Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Does anyone have a Pepwave Surf on the Go router/modem? Help?

Hi all,

We we were given the above router as a Christmas gift a year ago and set it up with tech support from the 3-G store but we've passed the free tech support time limit.

We got the new Millenicom Pantech Jetpack and have attempted to set it up so we can print directly from our iPads, phones, computer using the Pantech but can't figure it out. Right now, we have to change our wifi setting, while on the page we want to print to the original name we gave the Pepwave, to print but our iPads switch back to the Pantech in the middle of printing.

It was simple as I recall to originally set it up once 3G explained it to us but darned if I can remember how to change the profile to set up the Pantech. To show how illiterate I am, we have the original instructions but it's not working.

I'd be forever grateful if I could call someone (PM me a phone # and best  times) to walk me thru it (not during the Super Bowl of course😄).

Thanks,

Sherry

Pepwave just sent us some beta firmware that adds support for the Pantech 291L. I'm not sure if it's publicly available yet.. but if it is, make sure you have the most current firmware available. If you've not updated in a while, the Pepwave can't tether to the Pantech.
