Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
I made it to see another Christmas which is certainly better than the year of 2012! Had my heart tests done in July and although they are not great here is the prognosis....the echocardiogram shows Coronary heart disease; CHF. The left ventricle is mildly enlarged with the lower wall having decreased motion and reduced left ventricular systolic function with an ejection of fresh blood entering the body of 45%; Normal is 62% to 77% in males. The heart valves are functioning properly. I take Spiriva; have a Albuterol emergency puffer for shortness of breath...DR. believes it may be COPD from Smoking that I quit 18 months ago with the Heart attack. I take 5 necessary prescriptions for the heart and COQ-10 the liver enzyme replenisher.
For those out there with any Health related maladies: I wish you the Very Merriest of Christmases and may we be safe and sound in the New Year coming!!! PIEERE

On 8/29/13, six weeks before we were to leave Illinois and begin our full time adventure, Paul was rushed to the ER with internal bleeding, and spent 3 days in intensive care. I thought I was going to loose him. But 5 procedures and ten weeks later we got the doctor's blessing to start our journey. He has to go back for additional 'maintenance ' every 6 months, but we'll happily work that into our travels. Now here we are in Hondo, TX, our first Christmas on the road. Paul is doing fine and we are so grateful.
Pieere - I'm very glad you're doing so much better this year than last. I wish you and the whole RV Dreams family a Merry and Blessed Christmas!
Great that you've made progress Pierre! Good to hear.
We have been in Castalian Springs since 12/04 and will move to Bledsoe Creek SP in Gallatin on the 4th. We head out of the area on the 7th or 8th.
We would love to meet you in person, if you have the time and energy.
