Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Some thing finally worked in my favor!!!

smileconfusebiggrinWell RV Family; finally got a little financial windfall that will help get some of my back indebtness paid off. When I checked my bank account yesterday I practically fell down; got weak in the knees and started sweating. I've waited so long for something to come through; and I had almost giving up hope.

I will finally be able to buy a point a to b vehicle and not have to be dependent on other people; I always felt I was imposing. I would have had to close my bank account the end of the month had this not come through. This will also relieve some of the stresses that we get when bills can't be paid.

I prayed; all of you must have prayed. They say God will come across in His time; some of the time I wish He could hurry a bit faster!!!
 Lol!!! Rattles ones nerves.

Yes, Pieere, everything happens in God's perfect timing. Isn't that the way it is supposed to work?  There is a reason for everything; hence, why we are not on the road, yet.  Sometimes, I believe, it is a test of faith.  Best wishes, and may God continue to bless you all ways and always!!!

Another month has went by. I have not been as active to the forums; but want to drop by and say most days are better. Paid back my debts and bought a used gas saver small 2000 Ranger truck so I can provide my own wheels for groceries and medical care. Unfortunately it needs repairs; which I have to get help with now; used to do this by myself; but life changes and have to deflate the ego. I guess the $4000 I will have in it will be like $400 back in the 1970's won't be too bad if I can get a couple years use from it. It don't smoke; knock; ping; or leak fluids yet.
The biggest problem I have is adhering to the diet; not so much the salt and sugar; but the fatty foods. Don't eat much red meat, the veggies come from a can; rinsed 3 times. I eat honey wheat or whole grain bread; not enough fruits because they don't last. Eat fish 2-3 times a week and only use 1% milk with Cheerios
Just an update!
