Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
Woke up Friday the 30th of March with extreme pain in my shoulders, chest, arms and hands tingling. Arrived at the hospital about 1 hour later and was rushed to Triage. Here it was the massive heart attack that we are warned about. I wasn't even afraid that I was literally dying! My fear was that I was never going to see family, friends and the wonderful people I had written to on this forum and others I met in my travels.
Well; Here I am recuperating on Easter weekend thinking about the new life promised from the Ressurection and the Ascension. Knowing I will never have to go through the Pain the humiliation that the Lord went through so many years ago.
Just wanted to come on and say; I'M BACK!

Glad you are on the mend, but I foresee some possible lifestyle changes in the future for you, even if it is only with more healthy choices of food.
I would imagine that most of us don't really fear dying, but perhaps we fear the process, with its possible pain and other discomfort issues. It helps to have that inner peace that lets us not worry about death itself.
Good luck with your recuperation, and know that our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Aww Pieere, So glad you came thru this so well. Glad, also, that you were near great medical care. This could be any of us. Bless you & keep on healing.

That is why my signature line states: Life is to Short-Live it Now! We never know how many more tommorrows will become today.
Wish to thank everyone for their well wishes. Doc; said: I had roughly 7-10 minutes more; very close call. I have been re-evaluating my Life the past couple days. No more smokes; I went cold-turkey before for 16 months and know I can do it again. Too Bad someone has too stand over my head with a big mallet; LOL! The someone is me.
I am definitely going to need a lot of support and encouragement and am Happy to know I can find it here.
Pieere
