Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
We're going to be spending the next few days visiting Devils Tower and Mount Rushmore, then we're going to be making our way back home to Vermont (with a pit stop in Pittsburgh, PA).
I was wondering what we should stop and see along the way and I was also wondering if there are any roads we should take.
We went to the Black Hills area last year between the RV Dreams rally in Branson and the Escapees rally in Gillette. We really enjoyed it out there and will probably come back some time. We liked Custer State Park best of all, loved the road that wound through tunnels with Mt. Rushmore showing through it ,we rented a car to do that , our truck wouldn't fit. The park had a large herd of buffalo and we saw big horned sheep rather close to the road. We are spending the summer volunteering at Gifford State Park in Killington Vt. Stop by and see us when you get this way.

Thanks for the info - we're going to try to make it to Custer State Park tomorrow. I hope you enjoy your summer and fall in the Green Mountain State - although I heard it has been a very rainy summer. The fall folliage should be near its peak when you leave in mid-October. The picture on your blog of the sailboat on Lake CHamplain made me kind of homesick.
