Just about everyone recommends Pasport America and I'm just starting to travel a lot. My question is if I sign up on line will they send me an e-mail with a membership number so it can be used immediately or do I have to wait until I get a membership card forwarded from may mail service?

We are long time members of AAA and have been more than satisfied. Now that we are Good Sam members we keep getting literature on their emergency road service. Appears to be a good plan. Does anyone have experience with it and/or able to compare to AAA? Thanks
